I think I’m the only Korean in the world invited to Tesla’s Cybercab launch this week. And from what I can tell so far on 𝕏, Tesla/Elon invited only around ~20 or so people, not counting +1s. But that’s the part I can’t stop thinking about… Why make an event this important THIS exclusive? Cybercab is a vehicle with no steering wheel and no pedals, built from the ground up for autonomous transportation. If Tesla pulls this off at scale, it will completely change what a car is, what it costs to move people around, and eventually what transportation itself means. So why invite only a tiny handful of people to witness the beginning of it? There has to be a reason… And whatever happens on September 3, I’m forever grateful to Tesla and Elon for trusting me with an invite to be there in person and witness a moment like this.
