BREAKING: Elon Musk says the Market for Humanoid robots like the Tesla Optimus Robot will be 1 Billion units per year, and Tesla can make $1 Trillion a year selling them. He predicts that they will ultimately sell for around $20,000 at a cost of $10,000, and Tesla will take at least a 10% market share of the humanoid robot market. New views of the rapidly growing Tesla Optimus factory here at Giga Texas. This is the one 10m/year factory that is in addition to the Optimus factory coming online later this year at the Fremont factory. That one is the 1M/yr pilot line, in case you were wondering. This structure has grown to 13 column grid spaces N-S, meaning it is now nearing 600’ long (~190 m) so far & will continue to grow much longer as earth reclamation work continues on the far S of the site. A lot more steel has been delivered to the site and the 7 cranes at work are assembling this steel onto the structure almost as fast as it arrives. Last week on my Wednesday flight, it was just starting the 9th column grid length, so this should give you an idea how fast it is growing!
