🐂Testing Kart & Character swapping Today I mostly fixed small movement related stuff and added a braking/backing up function. Also quickly modeling a kart and added a character to see how the modularity would work. A OK! #gamdev #ue5 #prototyping

I added a dedicated Save/Load menu to the Sparking Zero Color Customizer, you can set aura type and some metadata stuff here. I also plan on adding a page that lets you choose the default preset for a character, assuming you have multiple.

I finally added my beach...I also added a water resort, some aquatic creatures, and a small yacht.. Along the shoreline beside the Casino is a small neighborhood of mansions nestled amongst the palms...🔥🔥🔥 I'm so proud of how my water turned out...It took the longest..

New Crimson Desert Update 1.02.00 is Here: 🔸 The capacity of your private storage can now be increased from 240 slots up to a maximum of 1,000 slots. 🔸 Added a “Headgear Visibility” option in Settings > Language & Gameplay. 🔸 Added an Abyss Nexus in Pailune. 🔸 Added one new armor set and a helmet for cats. 🔸 Added a “Movement Controls” option. This option can be selected via Main Menu > Others > Settings > Input > Movement Controls and offers two options: Basic and Classic. 🔸 The stamina consumption for mounts has been adjusted. 🔸 Added an Escape key guide when affected by elemental status effects. 🔸 Improved responsiveness when inputting a jump after an attack. 🔸 Fixed an issue where certain quest-related NPCs would not appear. 🔸 Fixed several stability, performance, and crash issues across PC, console, and Mac, and more.

Been playing with a character consistency workflow again. This came from Nexora that starts with a single GPT Image 2.0 character sheet and turns it into a multi-shot cinematic sequence in Seedance 2.0. One thing I added to the workflow: I first comped the character, environment, and visual style together in Midjourney before bringing everything into GPT Image 2.0 to build the character sheet. I also pushed it a bit further by generating multiple characters, destinations, and art directions at the same time, then turning those into production-style character sheets and shot sequences. It's interesting how much consistency you can get from a single well-defined character board when the visual language, wardrobe, and environment are established upfront. Check out three different character + scenes here 👇
