Testing what Resident Evil 4 could look like on the Nokia N95 using Whisk3D as the engine. This is the first test with the original GameCube sounds and animations. The 3D model has an absurd amount of geometry for an N95

Why is this phone so powerful, what were they thinking?

Me duele saber que nunca voy a ser el mejor Dante en tech por la existencia de este chabon

very cool phone

The N95 when someone says it's too old to run anything today:

Counterstrike 1.6 and DOTA1 please

How would this compare to Resident Evil Degeneration?

Damn

you can't port that old and only port from re4 for android to the n95? the same way you did with xash3d from half life port

I’d rather work with the GameCube version than the mobile version of Resident Evil 4, which I don’t like. Besides, I don’t have the source code or any way to extract the assets from the Android version.

will you work on gamecube version then?

Yeah. I found out they decompiled the GameCube version, and I couldn’t resist going to check out what they did. It’s brilliant

@ChuckZealous @Rinnegatamante have you seen this? Could this be helpful with the Vita port in any way?

Are you planning to port RE4 to the Nokia N95, or just try out the assets in Whisk3D? I'm just curious.

I’m just trying to make a complete level, nothing more. It’s a Whisk3D demo, and it helps me optimize the engine so I can say, “A Resident Evil 4 game could be made in Whisk3D and run on a Nokia N95”
