Standing at 6’1” 180 lbs Isiah dominated the league in the late 80s and early 90s. Till this day NO little man has led a team to back to back championships (except Steph and Steph isn’t even that little). Isiah did it back in 1989 and 1990 having to get past Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson on those runs. Oh he’s more SKILLED and more INTELLIGENT on the court than 95% of the league today ✌🏻 Respect the past, learn the game, and dont be an ignorant fool 👊🏼

BREAKING: South Dakota State transfer 6’8” big William Whorton has committed to Memphis. Whorton appeared in 21 games last season, averaging 3.0 PTS 2.9 REB on 64/33/64 shooting splits in 9.1 minutes per game. The addition gives the Tigers some more depth at the big spot. Whorton is a rim-running big with potential to become a solid low-scoring option. Has pretty good feel around the rim for both hands and plays physical. Would’ve played a much bigger role last year had new Purdue big Oscar Cliff not been there.

Albuquerque, New Mexico — Body camera and surveillance video in which a deputy SH0T 18-year-old Elijah Riche armed with an “AR-15 style pistol” and carrying a backpack full of guns. The incident unfolded after Riche crashed a red SUV into other cars at an intersection. One deputy followed the suspect until Riche crashed into a fence. The suspect gets out of the vehicle, runs about 10 feet down from the vehicle, he stops, turns back around and arms himself with weapons from the vehicle, then starts running again. In the body cam video, another responding deputy, Ronald Perez, noticed Riche was armed with an AR-15 pistol and asked him multiple times to put it down. Riche turned back, and continued running toward other deputies with the gun still in hand. That’s when deputy Perez SH0T him one time. Riche was taken to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries. Four other guns were found in Riche's car and backpack at the scene. Riche had no criminal history as an adult but had a juvenile record.

In our league the play stops when the ball gets back to the pitcher. So getting it back in fast is everything! Our team was struggling with it so I came up with this game on the fly. One practice. Fixed. And the kids were BEGGING to play it again! Here's how it works: ⚾ Two teams. Defense takes their positions. ⚾ Hit through the full order with a tennis racket and tennis ball. ⚾ Every base touched before the ball gets back to the pitcher = 1 point. ⚾ For example: Pitcher secures the ball between second and third? 2 points. ⚾ Out at first before runner gets there or fly ball caught? Zero points. ⚾ Score and keep running if the ball still isn't back. The play never stops until the pitcher has it in the pitchers circle . Yesterday was a day of basketball for the Doty family. It started with a 6:30 AM wake up call as our first grader, Amery, coached by her momma and a former D1 athlete fellow mom, played an 8:00 AM game at our church in Sugar Land. Amery has worked really hard over the past months. She scored three baskets all of last season. She made six shots in yesterday’s game alone (see video for a few of her makes). Our son Braylon, a junior in high school, coached his third grade team at 2:00 PM at the church. His team has won some games and he said, “Maybe I should get into coaching for a career.” I think he should keep his lofty goals of becoming a US diplomat or going into medicine 😆. I’m just glad he is enjoying running practices and helping the youth develop through this volunteer opportunity. At 3:30 PM our Houston Christian University team tipped off a Southland Conference game in Houston. We got the win so Alexys and Braylon weren’t the only winning coaches in the family like previous weekends. In all seriousness, our players played an incredible second half and earned an important victory.

NIL could have a new meaning in the NFL: National Insert League. I manually charted every snap of the entire 2025 Rams offense, the highest scoring team in the NFL. Insert action was everywhere: motions, alignments, blocks and play action, with both wide receivers and tight ends. Including the playoffs, roughly one third of their under center first and second down plays featured some kind of insert component. Duo accounted for nearly 40% of their run offense, the highest rate in the NFL according to Fantasy Points Data. Many of those runs featured insert blocks. On under center early downs, their runs with insert action produced 5.05 yards per play, a 53.5% success rate and +0.07 EPA per play. But their duo identity created an incredible dilemma for defenses: commit inside to stop it, and risk getting outflanked outside to that same side. Running outside zone toward the three player side of 3x1 formations, the Rams produced 565 yards on 81 carries: 7.0 yards per carry, a 61.7% success rate and +0.23 EPA per play. Watching those runs, what stood out was how often they got the edge of the defense for big gains. The frequency was staggering. Looking through at least a decade of data, I couldn’t find another team remotely close to that effectiveness on those runs. They could do it from 11 or 13 personnel, running both duo and outside zone and presenting the same problem with different personnel on the field. Widen to protect the edge, and they could come right back to duo. React aggressively to the insert action, and they could throw behind you. The insert wasn’t just a wrinkle. It helped tie the interior run, perimeter run and play action game together. My top offensive trend prediction for the 2026 season: more teams building around insert action, pairing duo inside with outside zone to the same side, and tying it together with play action. 🇬🇧BROKEN BRITAIN🇬🇧 Yesterday, this homeless man had his nose bitten off in a violent attack in broad daylight He was taken to hospital for treatment and discharged within a few hours. The police secured him a place at the local night shelter, but when he arrived, his place had been given to another homeless person 💔 Violently attacked with half his nose missing, in a very vulnerable state with addiction problems, he's back sleeping rough, scared, and wondering if he's going to be attacked again I found him again today in the back of a flat doorway with nothing but a dirty ripped sleeping bag. Again, there was no place available at the night shelter Why is he not a priority? I did all I could with what we had available from previous appeals, he has a new sleeping bag, fresh clothes, an emergency shelter tent, a panic alarm, and he's been fed The other person in the video has taken him in for the night, so we know he's safe, at least for now Why has he not been kept in the hospital? Surely he needs plastic surgery? Why is he not a priority with the emergency housing team? He clearly self-harms has addiction problems and is very vulnerable This is England 2024 The number of people sleeping rough is up 27% on last year 61% higher than it was 10 years ago, and 120% higher than when data collection began in 2010 It's time all the major parties came together and pledged to end homelessness This is not supposed to be a third-world country, but look around you. What do you see? How many more people have to suffer before action is taken? What has our country become😢
