I saw with my own eyes a disarmed man already subdued by four officers, who after being disarmed was shot at least ten times by officers whose lives were not in danger. One officer directly involved in the scuffle had chosen not to draw his firearm during the scuffle, but once his fellow officer began shooting, he gruesomely displayed animalistic behavior and apparently joined in shooting an immobilized and wounded man lying listless on the street. That’s what the evidence shows in my view. I watched it over and over and could reach no other conclusion. If I were on a jury and presented with this evidence, I would vote to send to prison the officers who dispensed their weapons. Violent. Grotesque. Criminal.
