She says it’s “dehumanizing” to use the term illegal alien. No, it’s a legal distinction. It describes a foreign national who is in the country unlawfully. That’s it. We shouldn’t change reality to fit her and other’s feelings. There is a clear difference between legal and illegal immigration, and pretending there isn’t doesn’t make us more compassionate.
