This is another joke from my first live at the Apollo. As a club comic from 2000 - 2013 I wrote a club set of bankers like this that I later used on Mock the week and Live at the Apollo. There were all in my first two specials. Since then I’ve written and toured plenty more. My fourth tour will be released as a special later this year. My third tour was ended by the pandemic but im salvaging old clips and re recording bits and bobs. My fifth tour is happening now. I think it’s my best jokes yet.

On The Road With Al & Ivy Blog entry for June 3, 2016: First book trailer for the On The Road With Al & Ivy novel "On The Road With Al & Ivy—Book 1: Becoming A Face" will be released in about two weeks. As I said earlier, I was working on this book and "The Quitturz," and this one was the first to be completed. I decided a while back to do this as a novel for various reasons, mainly because it's complicated to write a book based on real life with actual people. Anyone who's read this blog for years knows that this novella, which runs about 45,000 words, will be based on my experiences. The novel format allows me to include a lot of material based on other people's observations and comments, which will make the novel more richly detailed. The format allows me to fictionalize people so that every character resembles no one in real life. The main reason is to protect sources and to take advantage of fiction's flexibility, which allows me to use my imagination. I think that with any work based on real-life experiences, it's essential to be fair to the characters. One of the things I specifically avoided was not to create one-dimensional saints and sinners, so to speak, so that every character can be seen as a human being with both virtues and flaws. Doing this as a fictional trilogy also allows me to draw on my interest in past literature and do this as a work. I didn't want to do a documentary-style book. Plenty of those are already available for this book's subject matter. The title refers to a phrase that will be occasionally used in the book. It doesn't have one particular meaning. It starts off meaning one thing, but as the story progresses, you'll find that it's a much more complex concept. Another aspect is the story's structure. The original drafts were in the first person, but I found that once I shifted to a novel format, I could weave a more complex tapestry that included other first-person accounts and third-person narratives. I admit that my writing will probably get mixed reviews, as some readers will always criticize that kind of structure, but after 8 years and a lot of thought, it's simply the best way to present the story. Maybe some coaches will chime in on this…. But this is how I’m seeing it right now. I think you’re going to see more and more two way guys coming on the scene in college baseball. Here is why. The rosters are going down to 34 man rosters. You will be needing 2-4 guys who can eat up an inning or two and be able to produce in the field and at the plate. Those numbers may be even higher than that. Years ago when a college told you- you can two way, it typically meant we are brining you in, youll have a short leash and your most likely going to be a PO. Now it’s a legit thing. Schools will need much more versatility- If you can pitch and hit AND play multiple spots on the field. Your stock will rise this year and years beyond. It’s just a matter of can you develop both and do both safely with the load on the arm. Bobcats open on the 13th at home!!! #slammarcos #baseball #twowayplayer #beisbol #pitcher

Visual artist Tony Hung has reimagined the album’s original artwork to create a special new red and gold album cover. "My reworking for the anniversary edition was inspired by a deep dive into the album’s lyrics. Here, I found more intensity, anxiety and a dystopian edge, all of which I wanted to convey in the new edition. First off, thank you for such great support so far. The book was #1 in Poverty Studies (Amazon) and even got to the low thousands in Fiction and Literature 😊👍 which I got a kick out of...nice to have a book that isn't in the trillion ranking... I'll be continuing to promote this book as it's still new but it's fun to get back to work on the Quitturz. I hope to have that out in maybe three months. As usual, I'll be working on more than one book so I'll also be assembling Book 2 of the Al and Ivy series. That one will have more insight into the mental health issue, larger camps, and have much more Ivy as she became especially important as the series progresses. On The Road With Al & Ivy: Book One: Becoming A Face is now live on Kindle Unlimited and will be .99 until July 30th. The On The Road With Al & Ivy novels are about a group of people in 2016, with all of their virtues and flaws, dealing with a catastrophic situation with resilience and making both good and bad choices to survive. The novel depicts various subcultures and situations that are rarely covered in the media and gives the reader a realistic picture of the homeless population. That means everything, from the violence and drug use that's often sensationalized in the media, back stories that humanize the stereotypes, the sense of community as strong as any in the mainstream, and even the rough sense of humor that many have about their situation. The author's main intent is to put a human face on the homeless population.
