This is just completely ignorant of early Christian history. The beliefs of early Christians were all OVER the place. In fact, the vast majority of them would have been considered heretics by today's Catholic church. This is both arrogant and ahistorical.

To truly study church history is to cease to be Catholic! I personally have studied the early church writers on various subjects like the Eucharist & sola scriptura and there is no abounding evidence that the early church believed identically to Roman Catholicism today!
