The EFF will keep labouring this point until this government realises that it’s being ILLOGICAL. If you withhold the Qualifications of students, how do you expect them to find work and be able to pay back? It’s totally nonsensical! The EFF Student Debt Bill will resolve this.

On top of that Sihle they add unreasonable i interests instead of making the debt payable. Uzwe kthiwa: - R5 000.00 late payment penalty - R2 500.00 interest p.m And I'm there like "dude, who said I'm late? Late for who"?

Tired of paying taxes? Tired of the police pulling you over on the side of the road? Tired of being pushed around and not knowing what you can do about it? My absolutely FREE course covers all the above and much more! By the end you will be filing your own lawsuits.

We obtain a letter of completion that allow you seek employment. A significant number of students have shown no willingness of paying the debt even when they got employment. How can you explain that at UCT student debt has accumulated up to 800M? Do you think that all those students did not get employment ?

The problem with this is that you are schooling people that are there just for their stomach, nothing about the future of this country, remember many of them never went to study or did that after becoming Mps

There is no work.

May i email you? I have some serious issues regarding unisa.

This was the argument that the chairperson of Council Mr Bikwani heard and gave a clear instruction and that has improved a lot lives and debt. And I am told the new empire reversed that decision.

They put people with no brains in the top positions, that's ANC for us.

Simple logic. But withholding someone’s academic qualification is inhumane and against our constitution. If everyone has a right to education then everyone has a right to their qualification after completion. I think this is a constitutional matter and should be referred to the constitutional court for a ruling.

Why don’t the EFF pay their bill and collect it from them once they have jobs 🤷🏽♀️ that way we keep the university going for the next generation

Where will they work no jobs in RSA for young people!

How about a valid qualification stamped “fee outstanding”. So can be used to find work. Final qualification issued when debt settled.

@Zany__M Makes sense sani, ndikuve kwakulaSONA debate ndaqonda eweeeee

You are our only hope @SihleLonzi EFF all the way 🙏🏿🔥🔥🔥

Wait until you guys hear about NSFAS.

Compliment to you ndoda ,you are rally shacking that parliament

You jumping the gun, step one stop the corruption

@FloydShivambu you taught him very well 👌🏾👌🏾✊🏾✊🏾 atiqulation 🙌🏾

Common sense.

❤️🖤💚

A degree in this country does not guarantee work. Too many graduates around and not enough people with technical qualifications

Yea or just attach the dept on my tax number. Sars do the collection.

@MightiJamie

The issue here should not be what happens after you have finished your studies, rather entering Vasity and knowing very well that you can’t afford. Institutions have the right to withhold if you owe them. Hence Fees must fall should be resuscitated

Leadership ✊🏿

Please tell me these dumbasses know what the unemployment rate is.. Shem! They'll get your degrees so you can sit at home😆 Aren't you blacks tired of embarrassing yourselves? I mean,if you have a problem and find a solution- you gotta ensure that the plan is viable throughout.

Build a school first

Leadership, because of @myNSFAS I owe 23k to unisa. I should be doing my last year (9 modules) now. Because of NSFAS not paying my previous years after it approved my application, I cannot register for the 2025 academic year to complete my degree 🤷🏾♂️

@R1200327 But universities do issue a proof of statement that you were a student at their institution at no fee... And you do get a job that you've studied for mos, even if a certificate has not been issued to you.

There is truth in what he is saying. It is simple, the university should be prohibited from witholding degrees. As should normal schooling be a free system. But explain to me, how certain schools can charge UP TO R24 000 per YEAR... FOR HIGH SCHOOL??? Who can afford these fees? NO its NOT a private school. Oh lets not forget the R100 for this and R500 for that... And then the schools "hand people over" to debt collectors who bought the debt and are forcing people with the LAW that they will be prosecuted and all their belongings taken. Like the online scammers they YELL at you, for saying you want to settle the debt with the schools self, you don't know this company who wants your money. HOW is our current "System" for the regular man on the street? It's a rigged system, forcing the people to pay, or else.
