The FA Discipline process should never begin before the justice system of this land begins. This needs to change. Found not proven in FA Process but found guilty in the courts. This makes a mockery of the current FA process. We have had this video for some time but... show more

Wait… You’re saying the FA didn’t get the right decision despite having clear video evidence? Well I never….. At least they’re consistent 😂

I had to read that 3 times... an u7s match... we may as well all be packing up football when this type of stuff happens.... kudos to the older ref for helping out and putting himself in the way. The county FA discipline system has never been fit for purpose and never will be.

from a legal pov this is crazy you have a criminal conviction with beyond reasonable doubt as the threshold 99.9% sure. Then the discipline matter being on the balance of probability 51% being not proven. The fact there’s a conviction for the incident should be enough

Case was found proven and 5 year suspension was upheld on appeal, except they removed the ground/venue ban. Suspended from playing for 5 years, but can watch. He should not be allowed anywhere near a venue where children are playing football.

Sounds about right. Numerous times had hearings where county FA have thrown out a case because a club says they didn’t do it, sat there and the county and club make you feel like you’ve made the whole thing up… whole system needs a revamp.

Not proven 😂😂😂 the evidence is right there before their eyes. Absolute shambles, we need Counties and an FA that support our officials

I know the lad in the video, post it with context, the referee was out of order and everyone there and at the club knows he was, hot headed ex policeman with an attitude problem who screams over kids.

Referees are essential to any team sport, simple you don't protect them or punish wrongdoers you don't have referees and you then don't have the team sport itself. These folk deserve all the support you can give them.

VAR looked at it and didn’t see an issue…

Imagine if referees got together and went on strike until the issue of abuse was addressed properly? Everyone moans at refs (I am guilty as charged) but without refs, there’d be no football.
