The FA Discipline process should never begin before the justice system of this land begins. This needs to change. Found not proven in FA Process but found guilty in the courts. This makes a mockery of the current FA process. We have had this video for some time but...

Wait… You’re saying the FA didn’t get the right decision despite having clear video evidence? Well I never….. At least they’re consistent 😂

I had to read that 3 times... an u7s match... we may as well all be packing up football when this type of stuff happens.... kudos to the older ref for helping out and putting himself in the way. The county FA discipline system has never been fit for purpose and never will be.

from a legal pov this is crazy you have a criminal conviction with beyond reasonable doubt as the threshold 99.9% sure. Then the discipline matter being on the balance of probability 51% being not proven. The fact there’s a conviction for the incident should be enough

Case was found proven and 5 year suspension was upheld on appeal, except they removed the ground/venue ban. Suspended from playing for 5 years, but can watch. He should not be allowed anywhere near a venue where children are playing football.

Sounds about right. Numerous times had hearings where county FA have thrown out a case because a club says they didn’t do it, sat there and the county and club make you feel like you’ve made the whole thing up… whole system needs a revamp.

Not proven 😂😂😂 the evidence is right there before their eyes. Absolute shambles, we need Counties and an FA that support our officials

I know the lad in the video, post it with context, the referee was out of order and everyone there and at the club knows he was, hot headed ex policeman with an attitude problem who screams over kids.

Referees are essential to any team sport, simple you don't protect them or punish wrongdoers you don't have referees and you then don't have the team sport itself. These folk deserve all the support you can give them.

VAR looked at it and didn’t see an issue…

Imagine if referees got together and went on strike until the issue of abuse was addressed properly? Everyone moans at refs (I am guilty as charged) but without refs, there’d be no football.

In light of the names Anneke Lucas mentioned, like the former Canadian prime minister who is dead now, but is the father of the current one. It is being shared all over the internet now. Canadian accounts are posting this, and it is getting lots of attention. This is also a wake-up call for Canada. A lot of people in Canada are commenting on social media that they are shocked by this guy being named. But actually he was already mentioned by Cathy O'Brien in 1995, as being involved in these networks! See the video below. So there is corroboration between these witnesses. A lot of these former and now deceased prime ministers she mentions were, at that time that she was in it in the 70s, involved in this. Also the Belgian one that Anneke names, and was also named by other witnesses. Which tells us, like these witnesses say, this was a global network. So the truth was already out there a bit, but it is coming out more for a bigger public. We will have more revelations coming out in 2025 about these dark dealing that have been going on at the highest levels, I'm sure. This is going to be a shock for a lot of people that are new to this information, because it is reaching a bigger public. Some will choose not to believe it, do no research, and look no further. But a lot more people will wake up to this, it is unstoppable. Of course, we have to check in with our own vibration. If it gets too heavy, take some time out and go for a walk in nature. Whilst revelations are important for the truth to come out, and confronting hard information is part of that, we have to check with our selves how this information is affecting us, and sometimes we need a time off. It is always most important to maintain a healthy balance between checking in with this information and our own peace of mind. #Epstein #PBDpodcast

What really strikes me about this case of a man from Ghana who was living with a Zimbabwean woman in England, and who ended up living on private land in a forest in Scotland, is how the media is treating it as entertainment. It is not entertainment. It is tragic. This is clearly a case of mental illness and mental health distress. These are people who need assistance and proper care. We should not treat them as a spectacle. We should not reduce their situation to something for public amusement. In any country with a functioning system, this man would be in hospital receiving the support and treatment he clearly requires, not being paraded in front of cameras. Even British newspapers have reported on this, and one has to question whether the tone would have been the same if this were a white Anglo-Saxon man living with a white Anglo-Saxon woman, calling themselves king and queen while living in the bush. It is difficult to believe it would have been handled in this way. There would have been more empathy, more sensitivity, more focus on care rather than spectacle. It is deeply troubling that this same standard is not applied to black people. It is equally concerning that some Africans themselves are consuming and sharing this as entertainment. This is not entertainment. This is a human being in distress who needs help. It is painful to watch someone clearly struggling with mental health being treated in this manner. We must respond with compassion, empathy, and humanity when people are going through such circumstances.

Levin's new episode "Stewarding the Flame" is out just now :) The focus: At the dawn of AGI, how can we make sure that the intelligences we're conjuring will add to a FLOURISHING of the process-of-life, rather than a brute optimizer that squashes life? As we get closer to superintelligence few topics are more pressing, and few people are thinking as deeply about the nature of life and intelligence as Levin. Big takeaways: -- Humans and non-human life will have to change if it wants to persist, this happens at every scale of the living process -- There is a much wider state-space of minds that we don't understand, but we should have a better grip on how intelligence works / comes into being before we build an AGI we don't control (because it might not carry the self-creating flame of life, it might be a brute optimizer) -- Levin is overall optimistic that the process of evolution and expanding life (even in forms that we don't understand today as "life" in a bio sense) will most likely continue to bubble up and continue to flourish in forms beyond us (i.e. the process is robust, and we'd REALLY have to mess something up to knock that trajectory off course) Some of the most important parts of this episode: 00:13:17 - Why MUST you transform if you wish to persist? 00:18:50 - Where does the self-preserving, self-expanding impulse "come from" in life? 00:33:30 - What do we need to understand better in order to make AGI "go well" (not just for how it treats humans, but for its ability to expand flourishing intelligence into the future)? 00:48:33 - [A deep-dive into the Flame paradigm (the process-of-life), and the Torch paradigm (pretending homo sapiens sapiens can/should rule all possible futures in a static hominid form).] There's a TON more in here, but this is a start. I sincerely hope you enjoy this episode with Mike!
