This is so so worrying to see and we hope Anthony and his family are ok. This is why we believe organisations like the LMA and the PFA as well as the The FSA need to come out and condemn such behaviour in this country. Mangers comments and players behaviour encourage this and it is on a worrying rise where a serious incident or murder is just around the corner.

A ref sent this to us and posted it on our facebook page “This happened in Sunday league game last weekend. All escalated from a penalty being awarded. To the club assistant calling me a cxxt bastard, prick, going to get me after the game. Then players reacted after exchanging words. The player that fouled in the box for the awarding of the penalty had an altercation with the other. This mealy went on for 5+ minutes of fighting throwing fists, club Assitant hit players around the head, people being kicked in the head. Obviously I was off the pitch by this point. match abandoned and trying to witness what was happening. Whilst collecting my bag, I was threatened, told it’s all my fault, I’m a racist, im a cxxt Also Followed to my car told I’ll find out where you live I’m coming for you, you ain’t getting paid you cxxt All for The love of the game!!! But….”

The FA Discipline process should never begin before the justice system of this land begins. This needs to change. Found not proven in FA Process but found guilty in the courts. This makes a mockery of the current FA process. We have had this video for some time but as there was a legal case pending we did not post it. We have been supporting those involved since it happened. There is a lot more to come out with this case with a few people and organisations who should hang their heads in shame. We will comment more, in detail, at a later date.

This is a disgrace and that player needs to receive a huge suspension. Well done to the playings for holding him back. We absolutely 100% support the refs decision to walk off. We have stated time and time again. If you feel threatened in any way, walk off the pitch and leave them to it. This is very similar to a case where the players did not hold the assailant back and the ref was punched 3 times. We hope the ref is receiving support.

Who wants anyone to behave like this in football never mind a Chairman of a football club. Climbing on a fence and shouting “you corrupt Cxxt” to the ref. Think this chairmen needs to resign today. Unfortunately, many refs will know that this sort of behaviour by “grown men” is common place and the sooner body cams are introduced to prevent and evidence this sort of behaviour the better the game will be.

Can’t wait for Body Cams to be allowed after the Body Cam Pilot. This is the sort of reason why we lobbied so hard and long for their use. It’s also difficult to write down exactly what’s happens here in a report. With the FA reluctant to use video evidence some idiots get away with stuff like this. Hope the ref is ok and well done to all of those who held the “player” back.

Shocking scenes of spectators fighting each other and one stabs another in the head. The incident was allegedly recorded at the Iber cup in Spain and were allegedly parents of players. We hope everyone is ok and everyone, including the match officials, are being supported. Video sent anonymously.

A genuine request for help from everyone in the game. This video is from a great friend of mine and a huge positive influence on my life Eddie Hughes. He was the referee for a game where he blew the final whistle a few minutes too early and had to bring the players back out on to the pitch from the changing rooms after a lino pointed out his mistake. This was a top flight game in October 1978 Crystal Palace F.C. v Fulham Football Club He has never seen the game and would love to get a copy of the match. He is 90 next year and I would love to give him a chance to watch the game for the first time. Any help from the media would be greatly appreciated.
