Anyone who has followed the last 10 years of TN politics will know that it was always DMK that sets the narrative and all opposition spend all their time only in reacting. But once again Vijay has defeated DMK at their own game by taking the lead in setting a narrative and making DMK only react and respond endlessly. Ever since Vijay spoke about MISA scam and triggered DMK, the entire DMK ecosystem with their MLAs, ex-Ministers, IT wing etc have gone sleepless only to keep responding sleeplessly. Not just Congress party, almost every other alliance party of TVK were of the hope that TVK will completely rely on their support and they can play around in their own way with him just as an 'acting CM'. Once TVK manages to secure both Dharapuram and Mathuranthagam, it will create all kinds of turbulence in all the other parties, with ADMK expected to suffer the most. Plus parties like Communists will become irrelevant as their importance will only keep vanishing. Not many discussed about this obvious hate of DMK on TVK that they ignored not to show their losing faces at the Oath-Taking ceremony. In fact both Stalin and Udhayanidhi only tagged Actor Vijay’s Twitter handle though they know TVK leader Vijay has got a separate handle. Such is the level of insecurity and the people could see that. Vijay's TVK Govt is very clear at showing the TN media their place. For long, TN media have been in the payrolls of DMK and have been publishing news favouring DMK, irrespective of whether DMK was in power or not. Every single scam and corruption was exposed either by politicians like Annamalai (DMK files) or independent youtubers like Savukku. The media played absolutely no role in that. Vijay's TVK Govt came to power only with the people support and the entire media, political parties and business ecosystem was against Vijay. DMK regime is certainly one of the worst phases for Tamilnadu w.r.t Women Safety and Drug Trafficking issues. DMK and their allies were even proudly going past it with a 'so what' attitude. Uttar Pradesh has leaped forward in growth across various sectors in the last few years due to their ZERO TOLERANCE on law & order issues. That is the root cause of all the problems. Today the Singa Penn task force has certainly shown serious intent by TVK in dealing with law & order issues that has doomed the state. Both DMK and ADMK would have thought that it was just another promise like they usually do and no one will have the guts to do it.
