I’m not making a comment on the criticism itself, just the way he delivers the line.

Southgate has to get the credit for the win yesterday. England started so well, Netherlands adapted but then so did Southgate by thinking quick and getting the subs on early to change the game and win it for us.

Really love how he speaks. You know I think he's had some deserved criticism but I also think he deserves massive praise. I think he's learnt this tournament also. Perhaps not everyone's want but it's what we need, he's been doing a truly fantastic job since he arrived. England!

Heartfelt words from Southgate. But just to be clear, he's not disliked or talked about negatively because of his personality or who he is as a human being.....anyone can see that he's an absolute top bloke. Where the line blurs is purely based on his Footballing decisions.
