As tragic as it is that the officer died the RCMP have no right to arbitrarily stage a procession involving hundreds of police vehicles on a Friday rush hour.

Around 1:25 pm deputies responded to an accident with injuries involving a motorcycle and a delivery Truck in the 6000 block of Pleasant Ridge Rd. When deputies arrived, they found a male adult motorcyclist lying on the ground. Deputies assisted the male adult until Shelby County Fire arrived and transported him to Regional One in critical condition, as well as transported the other driver to Baptist East in non-critical condition. Pleasant Ridge Rd between Twin Oaks and in the 6000 block of Pleasant Ridge Rd will be closed to through traffic. Drivers are asked to use Singleton Parkway to HWY 385 and HWY 14 as an alternate. This is an active investigation.

For the first time in 46 years, cargo has today left Nairobi to Gilgil, Ol Kalou and Nyahururu via railway. 10 wagons full of fertlisers are now destined to NCPB stores in Ol Kalou and Nyahururu. The M5 is shut in both directions between junction 23 for Bridgwater and junction 22 for Burnham-on-Sea because of a lorry fire. It happened on the southbound carriageway but the road has also closed northbound due to heavy smoke- National Highways: South-West says the northbound closure is in the process of being removed. I think she fails to understand that, in this present juncture, Manipur has the lowest per capita income and the highest rate of inflation. How do you expect the state that is lowest in income to survive? We have helped in building this nation. We deserve an equal budget. In this Budget, Nirmala Sitharaman ji has talked about tourism in the whole country, but has left out the North-east completely. All our youngsters are jobless.
