I feel like a live ammo counter could be rigged to work if you had an internal sensor that tracks the bolt movement

For the assault rifle to have the sensor to count how much ammo is left after a shot I could put a haptic feedback sensor to feel the weight of the recoil and it could count the recoil as a round being fired or you could put extra senors like motion, and weight

i wish more people would do battle rifle clones. everything's there: something like 6.5 grendel or another screaming hot cartridge, bullpup frame, put a nice carry handle riser on it with a 3x prism and you're golden. throw a CARL device in for 3rd burst
