When I swing, I just rotate from my core as hard as I can — like I’m throwing a hook at a heavy bag. It’s simple! I’ve never once heard a boxing coach tell a fighter to “separate” for power. I have learnt to understand that golf is about minimizing your misses. On the tee, I aim up the right and I do everything to hit a draw. It gives me confidence knowing that I then have the entirety of the fairway to play with. If I hit a small draw, I end up on the right side of the fairway. If I hit a big draw, I end up on the left side of the fairway. If you aim up the middle, you double your room for error. Lesson is to learn the way you shape the ball and then make it work for you. #PXGTroops

But that’s not how serious compression is created. Pull in as you turn the corner, and keep that upper left arm tied to the chest. That’s where the speed, control, and compression come together. 🔥How to corkscrew… Step 1: Attack the primary blocker It's dang near impossible to defeat a double if you take on more than one blocker. But instead of punching through the blocker's chest, grab the cloth on his shoulder pads. This will give you the ability to turn his body. Step 2: Twist & split Now that you have a hold of the blocker's shoulders... ...twist your body into the gap so you can split the double. Step 3: Escape & square up Violently shrug the blocker off of you to escape his grip... ...and square up so you can make the play.
