Gladiator 2 is a film that didn’t work for multiple reasons- one being scenes such as this. The unnecessary use of CGI totally took me out of the film. Gladiator released 24 years before its sequel but somehow looks much better. The filmmaking in Gladiator 2 really disappointed.

Later, on July 30, 2012, it was announced that The Hobbit would be expanded into a trilogy, just like The Lord of the Rings. In my opinion, this was one of the biggest mistakes made in the adaptation. Do you think the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, set to be released in December 2027, might make the same mistake and be expanded into a trilogy as well?
