The Hobbit trilogy trailers genuinely made it feel like another all-timer was coming. Then the movies slowly turned a small, heartfelt adventure book into three bloated CGI war epics.

The Hobbit trilogy (2012–2014) is a textbook case of excess smothering a good story. A slim, charming book stretched into three films, padded with CGI spectacle and side plots until the heart got lost.

The Hobbit trilogy. The story had such a solid foundation but aside from the first film, it completely fell apart in the second and third. Unnecessary additions, excessive CGI, and dragged out scenes turned what should’ve been a simple and beautiful adventure into something messy

SUMMER OF ’84 was released 8 years ago today. One of the most underrated coming-of-age thrillers of the 2010s. It starts with the nostalgic feel of an ‘80s kids’ adventure before slowly turning that nostalgia into something genuinely disturbing.

When The Hobbit Announcement trailer was released on December 23, 2011, Peter Jackson was still planning the project as a two-film adaptation rather than a trilogy. Later, on July 30, 2012, it was announced that The Hobbit would be expanded into a trilogy, just like The Lord of the Rings. In my opinion, this was one of the biggest mistakes made in the adaptation. Do you think the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, set to be released in December 2027, might make the same mistake and be expanded into a trilogy as well? What are your thoughts on this?

LOVE AND MONSTERS (2020) is one of those movies that suffered from its title. It sounds like a generic YA romance, but it’s a genuinely fun, heartfelt adventure with great creature design, sharp humor, and far more charm than the name suggests.

I wanted to try an idea that felt small at first, then slowly turned into something with a little emotion behind it. I used fruit characters for the test, but the part I liked was how naturally the scene gave the idea a direction. This is how it came together. ↓

This Took Three years to Finish: 🧙‍♂️ What if Attack on Titan was CGI? And there was a full workshop on how we made it? "No CGI seems to be the trend now in big Hollywood movies. But they don't understand that CGI is not the bad guy here." ALSO, no AI used in this Project. Fu*k that! Stay awesome folks. <3 for a like and share.

Warner Brothers is going to spend half a billion dollars on not one, but TWO movies based on this 40 second dialogue exchange. And I thought bloating The Hobbit into three movies was bad enough! Hollywood studios deserve what’s coming. Cinematic AI can’t get here soon enough.

They all went on fishing adventure and they mysteriously turned into mermaid. With the advent of Ai , making short movies like this has become easier with the right prompt you don’t need to be a pro.

49 years later, Star Wars (1977) still fully deserves to be watched again and again. 49 years ago today, Star Wars reminded audiences why movies matter. It gave us adventure, imagination, hope, myth, spectacle — but above all, wonder. Before CGI ruled Hollywood, before franchises dominated culture, there was a film that made millions stare at a screen and feel like anything was possible. Some movies entertain. A few redefine cinema. Star Wars did both. 49 years later, the Force is still strong.

If you ever felt worthless, remember this plot was left unexplained. Numbuh 1 made a report about the war between kids and adults, and how kids actually CREATED adults, then turned against them, and despited it look like it was just made up story, the episode ended on this note.

"the way the tension is built is almost unbearable, and the way it pays off is on another level. it feels like a nightmare that slowly transforms into a state of pure euphoria, as her guard slowly lowers. you can just feel the power emanating from elle fanning by the end".

FSD 14.1 drives down an extremely tight alley, then forces its way into a tiny gap after a left turn. I feel like FSD made the left early to get out of the way of the pedestrians since it was blocking the sidewalk.
