For more details on the Infection Control problem, please dive into my thread below… ⬇️ When you listen to the words of those tasked with converting the science into practical guidance to protect NHS staff & patients, it’s truly shocking how ill-informed they are… /2

Simple test. Ask someone to stand two metres away from an infectious individual within a poorly ventilated space for an hour... You can insert a pointless piece of perspex in between at 1m if you like. Observe & test donor/recipient for 72 hr. Repeat for statistical power.

We… the grunts in the trenches… KNEW IT WAS AIRBORNE and they disregarded us. It’s still airborne and it’s still highly contagious and the powers that be are doing FUCK ALL to mitigate the spread. We need HEPA + UV air filters in the hospital and hospital wide N95 masking. This isn’t hard… but politics prevents doing the right thing. Our leaders are GARBAGE!!!

There are many Lisa Ritchi's around the country who are continuing to make up rules for hospitals as they go long without a bit of science in sight. Tens of rthousands have died from this non existent infection control.

Question to Prof Clive Beggs: "Is there any scenario or situation where someone could produce a droplet without also generating significant amounts of aerosols?" His answer: "No".

@scott_squires When it is patently obvious the Infection Control employee is embarrassed yet holding to an erroneous position, why are they not sacked? In the US it's political theater sacrificed for "the economy" under an administration that doesn't give a damn abt science. (Both of them!)
