This is not a scene from a Mad Max movie. This is footage from the funeral of dictator Ali Khamenei in Tehran, Iran, yesterday. Supporters of the Islamic regime, including IRGC terrorists, are every bit as mad and fanatical as shown in this footage. One of them even chained himself to the front of the truck carrying the filthy corpse of the regime’s terrorist supreme leader. This is Max. He snuck out in the middle of the night and walked 5 miles to get a breakfast burrito from a store that gave him one once. They weren't open yet when he arrived but Max was found the next morning thanks to his GPS collar patiently waiting outside for his snack. 14/10

I think seawater did something… strange to my iPhone 17 Pro Max charging port. Now when I plug in the charger and turn on the switch at the same time, it shows charging a bit late compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and 15 Pro Max. Today I also noticed it does not charge at all with a 25W charger, but it works with 45W and 65W chargers. Should I go to the Apple Store and replace the charging port, or just use the chargers that work? Will this problem get worse over time?

This is a story that differs from other tales of adopting an older dog, in this case, Max, who had been forgotten in a shelter due to his age. Then, as sometimes happens when everyone, Max included, had resigned themselves to the situation, he was adopted. The family that generously took him in discovered, over time, that what Max needed wasn't so much a "second chance" as it was peace and tranquility. After a troubled life, much like what we ourselves experience, he needed, above all, to rediscover himself; to do so, he required a place and the time to live serenely. He didn't primarily need a second chance, or perhaps the one offered by this family *was* exactly that: after a difficult life, the dog was traumatized, even if he didn't show it. His priority was finding an ordinary, peaceful life, and for Max, that was the act of love he truly needed. In time, having rediscovered his true self, he began to play and express affection toward the patient family that had given him, above all else, a safe haven and the peace he had never known.
