The library workers would remember my birthday & celebrate it when my own family wouldn’t surprise me with a cake or donut I’m not big on bdays stuff but for them to do that always made me smile & I’ll never stop telling ppl how important libraries are

My mom worked 12 years in the library (as a business manager) before we had to retire her and she and her bosses helped build up so many programs to help the community around them. She learned so much about how libraries work.
