And what happens when that thing encounters the foundation of the building?!! Imagine the cost of that thing getting stuck. Imagine the cost of that thing cracking the foundation!

They have a better version that uses foam liner inside the pipe

Great idea but it would raise the earth above it higher. Ok if it's grass but paving stones and slabs will have to be relaid

Perhaps the Corfu authorities can use it to replace their narrow bore plumbing that they've blamed the British for - for over 150yrs - without doing anything about it themselves.

This is an idiotic method.. Just keep the old pipe instead of putting in the effort to destroy it and put in a new liner.

This is stupid af and will fail as some pipes may roll into itself and plug up the path. And the blade will not cut through flanges

1) It doesn't remove the old pipe 2) it destroys fiber optics, telephone cables and everything burried in the same trench 3) it only works for straight pipes with no connections, shutoff-valves or thermal expansion -bends.

I've seen this before and it looks like a brilliant idea, however it does not seem to be readily available. Has anybody used this? What kind of costs?

Given the same caliber, it would be impossible for it to have any effect inside a concrete structure. Physics simply doesn't allow for it.

With all the money we have given to Israel and Ukraine, we could have easily replaced all the degraded lead pipes in America. Flint, MI and Jackson, MS desperately need this to be done for their municipal water systems.
