Being a stay-at-home mom is a job. That's it. It's not that hard. I've done it. I've had jobs outside the house. I've stayed at home with my kids. You know once they start school you get a job go to work. It's not that big a deal. The kids are only at home until they're 5 and then they go to school. And then you have all day to yourself until you go pick them up. I don't know why you keep saying it's hard, it's not. You want to know what's hard is when your kids leave home and they've got kids and then you're planning on retiring soon and you find out your husband has brain cancer. You want to know what's hard? It's going to those doctor's appointments, or staying at the hospital for weeks at a time, going to radiation treatment, going to the pharmacy. You're entire life is eat up by doctor's appointments and MRI's and pharmacies and phone calls and hospital visits. That's hard! Life is hard. It's not supposed to be easy. If it's always easy for you you're doing something wrong. But it's equally as hard for everybody else, you're not special!!!

Joe Lonsdale: You can't help but be optimistic when you see the capabilities of these models and what's going to happen with productivity. I'm a fan of Kevin Warsh. I've known him a long time. He's the chairman of the Federal Reserve, and one of the things he'll be doing in the next year is using all the staff there to measure productivity in our economy, because that's a huge part of what's happening here. The only way we all get wealthier is if productivity goes up, and it's very clearly going to go up a lot. I'd be totally shocked if it doesn't over the next few years. When it does, that's going to create a lot of wealth and a lot of jobs, if we can manage not to rip each other apart with our crazy populists and keep this an actual capitalist economy where you're allowed to build things and innovate. They weren't in high school. They've had to learn to play since they started playing in the pocket looking down field. And so when they get to the NFL, that's what they've been doing their whole life." -"It's great to be a great athlete of course, but the problem is...if you've been doing that your whole life, you haven't had many reps of staying in and eventually they'll force you to, and it's hard to develop that in NFL." -"If you want to be successful in NFL, you're gonna have to be able to do both. You're not going to build a following of people who say, 'Man, I just love Palmer's right-down-the-middle, very hedged takes that everyone agrees with.' If you're just restating common sentiment, it's not going to get you anywhere. So make sure that when you're saying something, you're saying something. Make sure you're trying to affect change — maybe not in everybody, but in some people. If you make some people love what you're saying and some people hate what you're saying, that's a lot better than having everybody lukewarm agree with you about things everyone already agrees with. Don't waste your time communicating about the things everyone already agrees with you on."
