I had Friends on this booking. They perfectly described it as being on the ship with a bunch of one eyed cockroaches because they were swarming all over the ship with their camera in their face doing this scavenger hunt, and other things interfering with paid guests.

Disney should have refunded all the guests for the intrusion, I would be livid. “influencers” are a step below Telemarketers. At least I can hang up on them. Influencers ruin your experience, walk into your kids talking at their phone, and behave like entitled toddlers.

Too many of these theme park influencers lack the fine art of 'blending' in with the guest experience.

I stopped doing invited Disney media trips 6 years ago. Imagine taking your kids and they spend their entire trip dealing with some people who act selfish, entitled and rude I could share a lot more but won’t

Here comes the shill!! (Talking about me) Disney is in a no win here. They rely heavily on the influencer space. Signs they have tried to reel it back in, but when they ceded their own ground around 2010 this was the only outcome. They really need to pull back and maybe do what Nintendo did and have a partner program. Or the current version where they have to meet strict requirements.

To an extent I agree. Despite me watching some of these influencers. I feel so bad for these family who are probably only doing this once (because it’s expensive as hell) and instead of relaxing are worried they’d get in peoples shot especially with how rude these types of people

We were on this sailing and just got off this morning and were not bothered in the slightest by any of them- was fun to see them operate in the wild and see the ones who are completely fake when the camera is on and off

I give lots of grace to the content creators… but even I was shocked at EPCOT when a guy with a camera startled me in Morocco. He was getting broll of a sign behind my table and just walked up with the camera in my face saying ‘Morocco is not lit up during fireworks!’

Actually this could be smart. Get all them in one 🚢 to get their content and then make the following ones a content free sailing.
