Monkeys destroying crops and liveihood of farmers in Vikarabad Dist. I raised this issue today in the Parliament. It turns out that it is a problem not only in Telangana, but in many states. Many MPs cutting across party lines not only agreed, but supported me on this issue. No single department or ministry takes the responsibility of this problem. There is a need of a nodal ministry and a national guideline to tackle this problem. Each state addresses the problem in a different way & some states do not even do anything and leave the farmers to fend for themselves.
