The PS5 Pro is an impressive console with noticeable boosts in performance and graphics for games that take advantage of its powerful hardware. But for $700, you’ll need to think twice about whether or not the upgrade is worth it. Our review:

Most people don’t even realize even if you had the PS5 pro, you probably don’t have the right tv capable of living up to its promise. Which means you also need to fork over a bunch of money for top of the line tv in order to see those improvements

I would get this day one if it came with a built-in disc drive and stand that can do both vertical and horizontal for $600.

$700 more like $1100 for me but if Trump goes through with his fucking tariffs expect to pay a lot more for imported electronics but you guys voted the asshole for a second term you can sleep in the bed you made.

Frankly I’d need to upgrade my TV to even get the full extent of my PS5, let alone a Pro

It's amusing how previously console centric #Xbox influencers have now predictably jumped to recommending PC over console, despite Xbox transitioning to releasing games on #PS5 lol. While I appreciate things change and opinions can too, it's also amusing how a lot of Xbox centric influencers happen to routinely change opinion, often dramatically, perfectly in-line with whatever pivot, strategy change or narrative Xbox employs lol. Case in point with Ryan McCaffrey as my video covers. In the end, you'd think PS5 getting Xbox, PlayStation and multiplat games would make it an optimum or defacto recommendation to console gamers, especially as #PlayStation exclusives by their own admission are among the highest quality available, and it's only on PS5 you can get them day one, if at all. But nope, they're still recommending PC to folk who can only afford one console instead lol. Ryan McCaffrey's tweet here is amusing as a decent PC rig is not only notably more expensive than a console (making it less feasible for some and not logical to someone who could only afford one console), but many other primary console gamers (like me) aren't even console gamers because of the higher expense of PC rigs, but desire for console convenience, ease of use and/or physical games. Many don't want to deal with PC hang ups, large rigs, builds, shader compilation or traversal stutters, higher likelihoods of buggy or broken ports, mods, tinkering with installation files, analysing performance, experimenting with different settings for optimum performance etc, and some still like to collect, lend, trade, sell etc physical games. Instead, they want a largely hassle free, pick up, play, capture, edit etc as quick as possible experience, that can slot into their living room entertainment unit under the TV with the least amount of maintenance and after thought. And for those who want all that with a console but with higher performance or settings, there's the PS5 Pro. Obviously for those who don't care for consoles or want more flexibility, options, higher end hardware, graphics, framerates, mods etc, don't mind waiting for PS5 exclusives or games like GTA6, and have higher budgets, a PC recommendation makes perfect sense. #PS5Pro #Steam
