Ian Poulter was asked about his son, Luke, on Thursday, who's watching dad this week at LIV Golf New York. Gave a really cool answer about watching Luke's success and how nice it was to play well in front of him. "He's on an amazing trajectory: Top 10 in the world, playing great golf, plays golf courses that are exceptional. So he doesn't come and watch me that often. "I kind of had to put a round in today and just show him that Dad's not done yet. It's great. I love having the family come out and watch, and it inspires me to keep playing well."

He was the one that taught me the love for this game. "He decided this year that he can't be on the bag. He had the experience with me last year. He said, you need someone that knows. I love you with all my heart, but you need someone that knows how to handle a tournament of this level. I think it was one of the most beautiful decisions that he could have ever made because he was totally selfless. He was like, I know that you need someone else, but I'm going to be there supporting you."
