This is insane. An AI agent can run every boring job in outbound. We spent the last 6 months building ours. Here are my 8 favorite agents to build: Replies get sorted before we open the inbox. Campaigns go live from one command. Weak inboxes pull themselves out before they hurt a domain. Here are the agents behind it: 1. Reply Agent Reads every reply and drafts the response. A human reviews, edits, and sends. 2. Mailbox Health Agent Watches inbox and domain health. It predicts when you need new mailboxes, then buys and warms them. 3. Campaign Optimizer Agent Checks every live campaign every 6 hours. If 500+ leads were emailed and replies are under 4%, it tests new copy, replaces inboxes replying under 1%, and shifts sending to better hours. 4. Lead Qualification Agent Scores each lead by company size, industry, and tech stack. It enriches the record, updates your CRM, and only loads qualified leads into campaigns. High-priority prospect? You get a Slack ping. 5. Meeting Booking Agent Finds meeting requests inside replies. It books the slot, writes prep notes using the lead's background, sends reminders, and logs the outcome. 6. Pipeline Progression Agent Tracks opens, clicks, and website visits. It moves the CRM stage, triggers the next sequence, and creates a task when a lead shows real intent. 7. Copywriting Agent Writes cold emails and follow-ups in the campaign's voice. 8. Analytics Agent Watches campaign metrics in real time and explains what to fix in plain language. We built ours with custom code. Smartlead's SmartAgents let you build agents like these from a plain-English prompt, inside the platform where your campaigns already run. If you repeat an outbound task more than twice a week, that is an agent you have not built yet. Which one would you build first?

HOW TO LAND $8K/MONTH CLIENTS SELLING MANAGED AI AGENTS (FULL COURSE) The model: agents as a service. Take one task a business does by hand, own it, run it with an agent, and deliver the result like you're on the team. Start with speed to lead: intercept every inbound lead, enrich it, score it, and hand it to sales within 10 minutes. Jordan Mix came on the pod to walk us through the whole playbook. Here's what I learned: 1. If the client has to log in, you built software. If they don't, you're selling agents as a service. Your offer MUST pass this test. 2. Nobody wants AI agents. They want results. Say "agent" to a local business and they tune out. Say "leads answered in minutes" and they lean in. 3. Sell to one person, not a company. Make Doug in sales the hero: every inbound lead researched, enriched, and answered 4 minutes after the quote request. 4. Hunt where budget already exists. Look at job posts, Upwork VA roles, agency RFQs, vendors at trade conferences. Someone is already paying for the work. 5. Run the 7-day sprint. Day 1 idea, day 2 entry offer, days 3 to 4 landing page and demo, day 5 conversations, day 6 MVP, day 7 sell. 6. Someone telling you they "love your idea" is worthless. It isn't validated until 3+ people hand you a check. 7. Fish in a fish tank. He used a tool to pull 25 perfect-fit companies with CEO LinkedIn, open roles, and CRM mentions. 103 verified leads, ready for outbound. 8. Keep the cold email stupid simple. Subject line: "your contact form is broken." His one-line "How's your MVP?" email gets a 70% open rate. 9. Open with a $2,000 inbox audit. Review the last 50 leads, find where deals died, start Monday. All you need is 30 minutes of inbox access. 10. Price against the hire. A $120K posted role really costs $13K/month (salary x 1.34). Offer $8K/month until they fill it. They usually stop looking. His 2 key takeaways: 1. You already have $250K in your head. Your network, your skills, your years inside an industry. That's your unfair advantage. Start there. 2. Speed to lead is the foot in the door. Fix their inbox and guess who they call about the CRM next. You. Then expand across the niche. Go follow Jordan Mix for more startup ideas/ways to build agent native businesses. Full video below. (Also available on the Build With AI podcast wherever you get your pods)
