The problem is we have some stupid laws that are being used to send a person who tweeted something that lasted only hours to 31 months in jail. It's absolutely bonkers, as well as wrong.

CAPITAL CRIME: The real reason that crime is out of control in Washington DC is because the prosecutor elected by the people doesn't believe in arresting criminals. He focuses on the root causes of crime - which is never a bad idea - but until you address those root causes you've got to arrest and punish the bad guys. If you don't they just keep committing crimes. Attorney General Brian Schwald told residents that you "can't arrest our way out of crime" during a panel discussing earlier this year. h/t End Wokeness
