I'm convinced that there is one skill that separates truly intelligent people from those that aren't: Listening. This concept of "being a recorder" by Rick Rubin explains it perfectly. In less than a minute, Rubin provides 4 simple steps that, if followed, will change how you think about your interactions with others. Step 1: "It starts with coming in blank. Not having any preconceived ideas, being open, and really listening. Not thinking about what you're going to say next or what your opinion is." Step 2: "Basically being a recorder. Just hearing what comes in. Processing that information and trying to do our best to do that without any of the beliefs we might have to impact what that is." Step 3: "I don't want to have any reaction happening when you're speaking and want to be as neutral as possible. My goal is not to form an opinion, it's to understand." Step 4: "If you say something that somehow triggers me, I wouldn't challenge you. I would ask how did you find that? How did you get to that place? I want to understand who the person is, and through questioning, we can usually get there." My thoughts: So often we enter conversations with a predetermined idea of how it will go, what the other person will say, and how we will respond. The goal, as Rubin says, should be to "understand, not form an opinion." When someone says something you disagree with, rather than being triggered, frustrated, or defensive, why not dig deeper into how they came to that opinion? While different than your own, that doesn't inherently mean they're wrong. It seems as though at some level we've lost the ability to have civil discourse. To disagree and still coexist. It doesn't make sense to me and I think––with a little effort––we can change (and just might learn something from each other along the way.) Thanks for reading. Strong legs are the foundations of a stable posture, yet many let theirs weaken over time. You lose your ability to move and stand upright. Much of my work with chronic pain clients involves strengthening the legs. This video shows 8 essential lower body motions: 1- Hip Extensions Standing upright involves straightening your torso to align it with your lower body, an extension of your hips executed by your Glutes and Hamstrings. The problem is you sit on these muscles all day, weakening them over the years to the point where they fail to do their job. Your lower back picks up the slack against its will and becomes overworked. I'll start chronic pain clients with Hip Bridges on the floor to ensure everything is balanced, then progress to Hip Thrusts and eventually Standing exercises like the Romanian Deadlift. As for the Deadlift off the floor, those are great if you can access a barbell or kettlebell. - Hip Bridge (0:05) - Hip Thrust (0:11) - Romanian Deadlift (0:17) - Deadlift (0:23) 2- Split Squats Split Squats are excellent for strengthening the knees. In the case of a chronic pain client, I use them to stretch the quad and Hip Flexors of the back leg, which are often extremely stiff due to sitting. This stiffness makes the body collapse forward and is often the limiting factor when people try this exercise for the first time. I'll start someone with the Front Foot elevated because it's easier on the front leg and gives a great stretch, then progress to flat and rear foot elevated. - Front foot elevated (0:30) - Flat (0:36) - Rear-foot elevated (0:42.2) 3- Lunges Lunges are the dynamic version of the Split Squat. Besides being excellent for strengthening your leg muscles, the one thing I love about this exercise is that it teaches you how to brace yourself as your foot lands. Many people lack the core strength to absorb an impact. Lunges develop that shock absorption capacity, especially when done with weights. Ensure you have mastered the Split Squats before doing them, and use different directions to target your muscles differently. - Forward (0:48) - Back (0:54.7) - Side (1:07) 4- Squats The king of all exercises is crucial for your ascension. The vertical motion improves your ability to overcome the world's weight crashing down upon you. It's also an amazing Glute and Quad stretch in the bottom position. I'll start chronic pain clients with the bodyweight variation before progressing them to weighted and eventually one-legged, also known as Pistol Squats. Doing one leg at a time is one of the best ways to balance your body's left and right sides from head to toe. - Body weight (1:12.5) - Loaded (1:19) - Pistol (1:25.5) 5- Step-ups Step-ups are amongst my favorite one-sided exercises to strengthen the Glutes and Quads. They are excellent for improving the stability of your hips and abdominal muscles. Use the Front and Lateral variations to maximize your results. - Front (1:31.5) - Lateral (1:38) 6 - Leg Curls Leg Curls strengthen the lower attachment of your Hamstrings. They are an integral part of my knee and lower back recovery programs because many people are weak due to sitting. I'll have chronic pain clients use a towel to create muscle resistance, though you can do them standing to get some much-needed blood flow. The best way to benefit from this exercise is by using an exercise ball or a machine at the gym. - Standing (1:43) - Towel (1:49) - Exercise ball (1:55.4) - Machine (2:02.1) 7- Adductions The inner thigh muscles become problematic when people sit with their legs crossed. They either get stiff or weak depending on whether you cross one leg over the other or with your foot on the opposite knee. I love Copenhagen Planks to restore the balance in your adductors. - Knee-bent (2:08.8) - Straight-leg (2:14) 8- Calf Raises The ankles are the cornerstone of your posture because they affect the alignment of every other joint above. Strong Calves are essential to their stability, yet many omit them from their workouts. Standing Calf Raises also strengthen the knees from behind. Doing the Donkey variation, you'll feel an intense stretch from the knee to the ankle. Seated Calf Raises work a different lower leg muscle essential to pump blood back up from your feet. - Standing (2:20.5) - Donkey (2:26.6) - Seated (2:33.3) Include these 8 types of motions in your routine as an insurance policy against serious mobility problems down the line. Keeping your legs strong ensures a stable posture and quality movements, two crucial factors for a high quality of life.

Tristan Tate can't keep up with his own MORONIC LIES... Tristan is charged in Romania with inciting violence for ordering one of his female enforcers to beat one of his sex workers, which she did. These two clips expose how much of a fool Tristan is. In the clip on the left in May 2024, Tristan tells Michael Franzese that this charge is because he told his female friend "hahaha, yeah very funny kick her ass" when she told her a story of an altercation she had with another woman. In the clip on the right, the story he told James English this week is completely different. He says that he texted his female friend "kick her out" because a woman who was living in an apartment which he paid for did something he didn't like. Of course, these are both lies. Tristan has completely lost control of his own lies; he has done it continuously for years to the point that it is impossible for him to keep his story straight. This is what the ACTUAL conversation between Tristan and his two female co-defendants pulled from their devices looks like: GEORGIANA: Tell us what the plan is and what you talked to her about TRISTAN: YOU JUST NEED TO FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS... LUANA: xxx just messaged me that she won't work for us, just now. GEORGIANA: What? TRISTAN: Yeah, I'll kick her out. There's no rational solution with these whores. Kick them out HARSHLY, and if they come back, they come back. GEORGIANA: I want the money back, or I'll cut off her breasts. TRISTAN: Kick her out, take her things, and bring them to your place. LUANA: Yeah, I don't want her to leave. TRISTAN: For now, keep all her things. Her boobs cost me 1,500 euros, xxx did them cheap for me. LUANA: Without talking to her. TRISTAN: We can do this with her account. LUANA: She owes us 4,000 euros. TRISTAN: Be careful, I know how to handle this, at least. TRISTAN: NOTHING YOU'RE SAYING WILL HELP. TRISTAN: The move now is the following. GEORGIANA: Okay. TRISTAN: Both of you, kick her out of the house, hit her if necessary, I don't care, don't let her take her things. LUANA: Thank you. LUANA: Okay. TRISTAN: When you kick her out, keep her things in Georgiana's car, so xxx can't give them to her if she comes back later. Kick her out with nothing. Georgiana, you've seen me do this ten times before. Go do it now. Both of you. GEORGIANA: We'll take care of it. TRISTAN: Are you on your way? LUANA: I'm getting ready now. GEORGIANA: Yep. TRISTAN: Good, wait, maybe my kicking her out worked. Don't hit her yet, wait in the car. It is very clear why Tristan is terrified of his fans learning the truth about his incitement of violence charge and lies about it so desperately. It is overwhelming evidence that the Tates were running a sex trafficking ring which used violence to keep women producing pornography.

Pressing, transitions and goals in Canada! After the hiring of Jesse Marsch this week by Canada Soccer , there has been lots of talk about pressing and transitions in the football community. This is THE style of play that we have used for the last 5 years with Alliance United FC in @L1OMens and will give you some insight in how this can look. We went away from the 'possession' based 1-4-3-3 that everyone has been using as the 'best way' to develop players and win games. Many say this is the 'right way' of playing. However, we use the players' abilities and inabilities as the starting point and based on players produced in Canada, within our youth system, this is the way we think will get us the best results and help our players get to the next level. You need to understand youth development in our country to understand what is and what is not being taught to young players. This is not a negative outlook, it is just looking at the reality. Many mistake this style of play as just non-stop pressing and chaos. Yes, these two aspects are important but it is a much more deliberate and planned way of playing that is used to predict where the opposition will play the ball, where the ball can be dictated and what areas the opposition leave open for transitions when they attack. In 2019, I was introduced to Ernst Tanner former Academy Director of Red Bull Salzburg and current Philadelphia Union Sporting Director that has led the club to being one of the top clubs in MLS and arguably the best academies in North America the last few years. Both organisations are known for their pressing and fast transitions in addition to producing top players. He became a mentor to me and gave me insights and education on this style of play. He has changed the way I look at football. Every season we try to recruit players that can play this style that I will describe below and we do not waiver in the way we played. Every game since 2019 Alliance United FC have played either in a 1-4-2-2-2 or a 1-4-4-2 midfield diamond....every game. We have no secrets in how we play. We focus on defending, pressing, forcing teams into mistakes and transition football. It is important to understand that we do not care how much possession we have and we actually want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. Stats in football show that only when a team has the ball 70% or more in a match their is a correlation to winning. Anything less is not correlated to winning in a certain match. In addition, 80% of goals are scored under 5 passes or less and under 10 seconds when regaining possession. We follow the trend! So, here are some important points based on the video: a) Pressing higher up the pitch when possible. All 11 players are committed to the team intention (principles) and if anybody is not committed and does not contribute to this style of play, they do not play. There is no leeway on this. Either you are in 100% in or you are not. All it takes is one player to not commit and the plan will not work. If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition. This is a quick overview of a different way of playing football that Canada will see with the Men's National Team.

Bryson DeChambeau shot a final round 65 to finish 3rd at LIV Golf Korea, just 1 shot out of the playoff. He said after the round that the improvement was due to the work he did with Gemini AI after the 71 on Saturday: “Yeah, the beginning of the first round I felt great. Golf swing felt in sync and then it started getting out of sync and it felt like my hands were getting ahead of me. It continued that way for the next two rounds, and it was very frustrating. “I spent some long hours on the range trying to figure some stuff out and I was talking to AI quite a bit last night trying to go through some different physics principles that makes the club turn over, having some alpha torque and gamma torque put in there. I was like, what makes that possibly do that, and was talking about just grip pressure and tension. “So I came out here today with just a little bit more freer hands, and I felt the club a lot better, and I felt like I could close the club a lot more effectively and then I started striping it. “From then on out, I was able to kind of control it. Still missed some wedges to the right coming in, which is kind of frustrating, but that's just me holding on a little bit rather than just letting it go. “I feel like I'm on the right path now, and I had it okay in the first round, but really felt it -- I felt really good this round. I felt better than I did in the first round, which is a good trend. “Hopefully it continues, and I'm just continuing to learn. That's the thing; this game is so brutal. Missing two cuts at the majors and you feel like you're golden going in there, won a couple events and playing well, and this game can kick you when you're at your highest. “It goes for all of us, not just me. It's everybody here. Everybody wants to win. “I think that's the beautiful part about golf is that it can kick you when you're at your highest or it can bring you up when you're at your lowest, and yet we have to respect the game for that. “So I felt great. Didn't feel great in the middle of the tournament, but then the last round today I felt a lot better. “I'm proud of the way I persevered to finish third without really anything.” And then spoke about the Gemini assisted practice session he had at 8pm: “I was slamming the club in the ground trying to figure out what to do. I was frustrated. Been trying everything in my body. I didn't actually figure it out on the range. I went back and started talking to Gemini and trying to figure out just what it could be to passively make the club turn over. Hands just felt like they were moving forward like this and I couldn't get the club to turn over. Even if I tried to stop it here, it still wouldn't turn over. “So I left kind of frustrated and learned later that night that I just needed to relax my grip pressure and let the thing just fold over naturally. “I'm still working it out. I don't have the answer.” The solo 3rd was a good bounce back from a disappointing missed cut at the PGA Championship. He’ll now head to Valderrama next week for LIV Golf Andalucia before attempting to win his 3rd US Open at the historic Shinnecock Hills in a few weeks. Bryson DeChambeau Crushers GC LIV Golf

getting up to $1M in funding via a16z speedrun 🧊 is actually the easiest part of the journey of... As you start to build your product, you'll need to build your team... and I have some bad news: recruiting is hard. Most experienced founders will tell you that they spent at least half their time in the early days trying to woo early missionaries to join their cause. Your options at the earliest stages aren't great: - Agencies are expensive + have perverse incentives - You could do all the recruiting... but it's often too time-intensive to do effectively - Hiring an internal recruiter doesn't make sense yet... - Job postings... welcome to the nightmare of AI-generated apps! I want to give you a better option. Our goal as the a16z speedrun talent team: lend you our brand and hiring prowess. Not just hollow words and advice... because advice is cheap, and execution is invaluable. Our team of internal recruiters spends every single day cultivating relationships with world-class talent from the most heavily in-demand functional backgrounds (AI, ML, Full Stack Eng, Design Eng, Designers, etc), and then we curate and share that talent with founders across the portfolio. We're on track this year to directly place ~100 hires into speedrun portfolio companies. No fee. No perverse incentives. Just a purely aligned desire with the founders to get them exactly what they are searching for. One day there will be a solo-founder unicorn, and all this hiring drudgery might go away. Until then, you're going to have to build your team - and you'll want to use all the help you can get. ... so if you're raising, and thinking of building a team... you should apply to speedrun so you can have the best talent team in your corner.

I'm pumped to announce that DFS Mastermind is officially LIVE! I know I teased it some and showed it off but the pre-launch is over and now we build… The journey is just getting started and some of you have already joined in on the project with me. Thank you so much for your support! The early feedback is strong and has been that this concept of premium DFS evergreen content on demand, so to speak, where the community helps create and impact the content/ideas is a game-changer. So, what is DFS Mastermind? It's a passion pursuit project I created for all those that want to take DFS more serious with focus on the new topics and trends, review/application, information and education. All while collaborating with others that have that same curiousty and hunger for more knowledge! This includes content like: • Process/Strategy videos watching over my shoulder and listening as I explain my exact process across different sports and bringing in others that excel at sports I’m not as skilled/experienced with. • Case Studies/Review videos learning how I review and apply certain concepts I pick up from other top players and for other DFS sports. • Exlusive Interviews with DFS players - both professional and casual to learn more about their history, journey and see what we can pick up and learn from their past, lifestyle, mindset etc. • LIVE Events where we hop on a Zoom call together to collaborate and discuss topics around DFS sports, strategy, process, game theory, along with Q&A sessions etc. All this and MORE! There’s also a private Discord for reflection/collaboration before and after events and to discuss new content releases, share thoughts and ask questions that are sparked from watching/listening to them. Everything releases in both audio and video format, so you can take it in your own way, on your own time. If you miss a LIVE Event, it’s recorded and available for playback at your convenience. A completely new, innovative way to see things. Along with the ability to impact the content you see via the community-controlled content aspect! Important to note, this community won’t give you any projections, picks, plays, tools, data etc. (See Ship It Nation 🚀). It will instead give you evergreen knowledge and insight on topics many DFS players struggle with daily. A way to learn at your own pace and be part of collaborations with other DFS players of all skill levels. No matter what DFS sites you’ve been with or are currently at, this community is a great add-on for you. There’s something you can take away and apply across all the things I’ll cover because the community is helping decide it, proving a majority wants it! My mission is to help others get better at DFS and continue to grow the game we all love! Even if it does tilt us heavy at times! If you’ve ever enjoyed any of my work, this is a way to help ME, help YOU! This also helps the entire community. Join US: I truly appreciate if you can reply and/or help share this post. Thank you! Any questions, just shoot me a DM. I read all replies and respond to all DMs! P.S. I'm also offering a couple bonuses right out of the gate: 1.Most know I love a good giveaway, so why not kick things off with one of the biggest I’ve ever done! 👀 Anyone that joins the journey and supports will get entered into a draw on Dec. 23, 2024 for 1 $3,333 Ultimate Main Event Millionaire ticket on DraftKings, taking place Dec. 29, 2024. 2.When I first kicked this project off publicly, I asked thousands of DFS players to send in topics/questions they struggle with. Thanks to the 350+ that sent in questions, as it helped me create: DFS MIND MAP: TOP 10 TOPICS, TIPS, TRICKS & TIDBITS This is a 3hr30min Masterclass that everyone receives when they join the community. I’ll show more on that tomorrow but it’s a HUGE value to get you started and you’ll be part of the early group that receives it! 🧠🧩💡

Today, Box is announcing major new AI agent capabilities to let customers tap into the full value of their unstructured data. First, we’re announcing all new updates to the Box AI Studio to make it even easier to build AI agents that tap into your enterprise content for any job function, business process, or industry specific use case. We are also expanding our set of foundational agents that customers will be able to use to work with their enterprise content, including new features like search and research on unstructured data. Next, we’re announcing Box Extract to enable customers to use AI agents seamlessly for complex data extraction from any type of document or content. This makes it easier than ever to pull out data from contracts, invoices, research data, marketing assets, medical charts, and more. Finally, we’re introducing Box Automate, a new workflow automation solution within Box that lets you deploy AI agents across enterprise content-centric workflows. With Box Automate, you can design your business process in a simple drag and drop builder and then drop in AI agents at any step in the process. This ensures agents execute tasks at the right steps in a workflow every time. Best of all, our AI agents and workflow tools are designed to work across any system our customers work within, whether it’s leveraging pre-built integrations, Box APIs, or the new Box MCP Server. Ultimately, all of these capabilities come together to transform how companies can work with their enterprise content. Software has historically only been good at automating work that deals with structured data, which is why ERP, CRM, and HR systems have been mainstays of enterprise software for so long. The data in these systems fits neatly into a database, and the workflows are very ripe for automation. But it turns out most of the work in the world deals with unstructured data. It’s ideating through research documents, working with a client on contracts, reviewing details for a new product launch, looking at a patient’s healthcare record to make a diagnosis, working through due diligence documents for an M&A deal, and so on. For the first time ever, we can begin to bring all new insights and automation to this work with AI agents. At Box, we’re incredibly excited to be on this journey to help customers transform how they work with their most important data.

FIX ON THE UNFIXED : Exhibition Video "I took these film photos myself, integrated them with everyday objects, and expressed them through an analog technique called cyanotype. Combining the analog elements and legacy that I love, I worked with MCM to bring the gaze and sensibilities I've been quietly collecting into this single space. I think you'll be able to truly feel those sensibilities right here. As many of my fans probably know, I put a lot of thought into showing my most authentic self through this work. You've seen a lot of the curated version of me, but I wanted to capture the moments and everyday objects I usually record, and share them with you in the most natural way. Rather than just the finished product, I wanted to showcase the organic flow and the process itself, which is why I prepared this exciting project. Not only can you see the film photos I took and the cyanotype artworks, but more importantly, there's also a listening zone where you can listen to my recently released solo EPs. As you slowly walk through the space, relaxing and enjoying yourself, it will serve as a visual and creative element where you can feel what thoughts I have, and what kind of music and and perspective I want to share. I don't think 'FIX ON' represents a fixed, rigid identity. Change is natural, but what truly matters is holding onto ourselves - not losing who we are - as we change. As you stroll through, I hope you take in our direction, the music, and everything else here, and just experience it in your own way. However, the core meaning that MCM and I want to convey is exactly this: "Let's not lose ourselves, and let's keep finding our way back to who we are - one step at a time." I hope this exhibition can be of some help to you in doing that."

I’ve told you before that you need to work more than an APC Supporter to compare Messi with anybody😂😂😂 When it comes to catalogue of goals, it’s an area you want to shoot yourself on the foot, like are you being suicid@l?😂 this is a route you should not even tow😂 Messi’s catalogue of goals is unmatched. The number of “wow” goals he has is out of the moon. He’s not a tap in or penalty merchant, he plays mostly outside the box and you can imagine the number of brilliant goals he has, please choose another route. Messi that is still scoring wow goals at 39, not tap ins and penalties. You see the goal against Cape Verde, the heavenly first touch? the strike against Algeria, the way he brought down that shot against Egypt, these are recent wow goals from just last month😂 not penalties or tap ins, he also doesn’t try to steal people’s goals😂😂. Should we be talking about Ankara Messi, the amount of times he’s repeated Ankara Messi not just against Getafe, but against Atletico, do you know the number of solo goals Messi has scored where he’s driven the ball from midfield to beat multiple players? Guy you’re not even scared 😂😂 Is it the mad chip against Real Betis from outside the box, the chip against Madrid to announce himself, the solo goal against Madrid in the UCL, the free kick against Allison or the dribbling to place the ball against De Gea? The one against Neuer where he sat Boateng on the floor? Guy, the number of wow goals in Messi’s catalogue is able to end you, stop going that route and spring up another argument that’ll favor you😅 Another myth is that Messi does not score with his right foot, he does not have to. You still call Ronaldo your GOAT for just being a poacher the bulk of his career, this is why Haaland does effortlessly, meanwhile Messi is not your goat despite doing everything (dribbling, playmaking, etc), and still scores like your GOAT. Yet, your metric for goal scoring is not just getting the ball into the net? Like I said, it’s a myth because Messi even has 112 goals with his right foot lol, I’m sure you didn’t know. He also scores headers when it matters like the one he scored against Cristiano 😂, you ignored free kick goals my guy, out of the box goals Just read everything you’ve written, isn’t it even funny to you? Common laugh at yourself. You’re talking of goal catalogue and you have guts to compare someone who scores goals nobody can fathom with a poacher?😂 You’re comparing Ronaldo with someone who will create and still finish, while him (Ronaldo) is waiting for service? You even missed one important part which is shot conversion. Ronaldo has attempted 5,307 shots Messi has attempted 4,244 That is, Ronaldo has taken 1,000 more shots. Guess who has the higher conversion rate?😂😂😂 Messi is still averaging more goals while having 2,000 more dribbles than Ronaldo, 400 more chances created than Ronaldo, a higher average rating than him, 200+ more MOTM than Ronaldo, 150 more assists😂😂 All of these while Ronaldo has played 12,980 more minutes than Messi. Oh I forgot, Ronaldo also has more penalties than Messi😂 Guy I like you, if you were a Messi stan, you won’t be working this hard😭. Enjoy this one highlight make e remind you small 😂, I go add one or two more for comments for you, just for reminders o because there are even better goals.

■ Mark talked about his MT2 on Twitch •Q: MT2 when? ●Mark: all right. MT2.. my, originally i wanted to put it out this year, but i kind of want to take my time just prepping it a little bit more. so it probably won't happen this year. but i'm working on it. ●Mark: i'll probably put out a few singles this year just to put music out, put some songs out this year. and then we'll see next year maybe MT2. (can't wait to hear.) ●Mark: yeah, i mean, i was working on the album, working on the music like you guys saw on the vlog in between my breaks. but i just, i don't know, i feel like, every single time i'm working on a new album, it takes a while, right? it takes a while to work on the album. and i feel like, i always end up wanting to switch directions and like the vision for the album keeps getting changed along the way. i don't know if it's like the process. ●Mark: i got feel like back then when we were doing GOT7, it was like, this is the concept of the album and stuff like that. and we would either make songs along that story line or whatever it is. ●Mark: but working, you know, like independently you guys have so much freedom, it's like you want to try so many different things. i want it to be really good, to be really good. so gonna take my time to work on this next album for you guys. because i do want to tour after putting the album out, so i want it to be good for you guys. ●Mark: (when am i gonna drop my next single?) working on stuff right now, i'll probably drop a few singles this year. but as for the album, it might take a little bit longer. ------------- Mark-ya, please freely just go ahead and finish it according to your own direction, flow and plan. walking through this process with you is exactly what we need to truly prepare ourselves for MT02. since this album is where your soul and time are poured into, how could we expect to listen to it without long wait? we'll be ready and waiting, too. so please don't worry about a thing and do everything you want to do on your own flow and plan. we are always rooting for you, artist Mark Tuan. we are not looking for a quick release. we want to listen to your music that reflects your soul exactly as it is. it would absolutely take time. we are with you every step of the way. we are always right here by your side. please just stay true to what you believe in. to be honest.. you looked like you had a lot on your mind when i saw your face today.. so thank you for sharing your process so candidly. have a good dinner and get some good rest with your babies. love you. 🤍 Mark Tuan #MarkTuan #우리마크

Today is exactly 10 years since my injury that ended my skate career, at the age of 24. The animation explains exactly what that night was like, and how stupid it was, but also how gnarly it was. I ended up rupturing an artery, tore ACL, LCL, PCL, MCL, and stretched out the nerve in the back of my knee that caused me to have a permanent paralyzed foot (drop foot). I can’t begin to tell you how devastating it was to have something I loved so much taken away from me in seconds. My whole life was dedicated to skateboarding and it all changed over night, because of just one stupid moment. I’ve gone through a lot of ups and downs over the past 10 years, from hating skateboarding, wanting nothing to do with it, distancing myself from my skate friends - Then years later finding myself right back to loving skating and being apart of it again in different ways than just stepping on a skateboard. All of that has just been part of my healing process. I had a meeting with Rick, Carroll, and Smyth at Girl a few years back, requesting that we do a “Last Board”. They initially didn’t agree with me, but it was something that I really wanted to do. I felt just for the healing journey that I needed that chapter of my life to come to an end. I owe those dudes everything that I have in my life, Girl was my favorite company as a kid growing up, and I am so grateful that I was able to turn pro with them at 18 years old, and end my skate career with them (technically 10 years ago). I fucking LOVE Girl Skateboards forever. I also really like the idea of the board saying “GAME OVER” because it sounds so harsh, like “Dude, you broke your leg, you lose. You’re not Pro anymore. Game over” hahaha. I also just want to thank every single person that has supported me along the way of my skate career, from my family and friends, to every single person that we met at the demos and signings around the world. I am grateful for absolutely every second of it and all of it was a dream come true. And hopefully in 10 more years someone figures out how to cure some damn nerve damage. Shit. New part dropping 2034.
