The Speaker and I made clear from the start that the only way forward is with a bipartisan agreement. This agreement is an important step forward, and now it will go to the United States House and Senate. Here’s my update:

Trump is being charged on garbage up in NYC and Hillary paid a fine for funding a fake dossier used by the corrupt @FBI to go to the FISA court for a spying warrant. Team #Hillary paid a @GeorgiaTech I.T. partisian hack to produce a fake computer audit trail of communication between Trump's servers and a Russian bank , #AlphaBank and gave the info to the press in Oct 2016 after they had presented it to to federal intelligence as part of this fake RussiaGate, which the #FBI ran with even after they knew it was fake. The corruption is breathtaking. didn't sit in Jeremiah Wright's church because he was a good guy, wasn't racist, and loved America. He sat in that church because he was the opposite of those things. "Early this morning, the United States Senate voted overwhelmingly by a margin of 70-29 to move forward with the bipartisan national security bill. Now it moves to the House, and I urge Speaker Johnson to bring it to the floor immediately. There is no question that if the Senate bill is put to a vote in the House of Representatives, it would pass. So I call on the Speaker to let the full House speak its mind and not allow a minority of the most extreme voices in the House to block this bill from even being voted on." Shouldn't the House vote? Isn't that what Democracy is about?

We made it equally clear that Russia will pay a severe price for its unprovoked aggression and ongoing violence. This is the leverage needed for constructive negotiations to end this conflict. This is what is required for peace.

Today, our government team reported on the economic partnership with the United States. We have an agreement. It has been signed and will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for ratification. And we are interested in having no delays with it. All our representatives did a good job. The agreement has changed significantly during the preparation process. It is now truly an equal partnership — one that creates opportunities for substantial investment in Ukraine, as well as significant modernisation of Ukraine’s industries and, equally importantly, its legal practices. The agreement foresees no debt. It stipulates the establishment of a Reconstruction Fund that will invest in Ukraine and generate returns in Ukraine. This means joint work with America, based on fair terms, allowing both Ukraine and the United States, which supports us in our defence, to make money in partnership. President Trump and I discussed our readiness to conclude this agreement during our meeting in the Vatican. In fact, this is the first tangible outcome of that Vatican meeting, making it historic. We look forward to other outcomes from that conversation — it was a meaningful meeting, and President Trump and I used every minute to the fullest. I thank him for that. And once again, I thank both our teams — the Ukrainian and the American.
