In 1974, my boss at the Texaco station in San Diego, had a row balding eight track tape player. When one tape was finished, it it turned clockwise to play the next and then the next, etc. (I cannot find an image of one with a Google search.)

Nobody could predict that by the time we could 3D print one of those gadgets at home, we’d not need it. Also, I miss the drivetrain hump on the floor in the front under the bench seat.
