They were first 'discovered' in 1846 by J Muller and thought to be an adult animal he called an Actinotrocha. They are still known by two names, the actinotrocha or phoronid larva. Just in: Aircraft movement and the sound of what appear to be missiles overhead have been reported in multiple areas across the Kurdistan Region. These two videos are from Shaqlawa in northeast Erbil and Ranya in northern Sulaimani. Interestingly, both locations are not far from the U.S. Harir airbase in northeast Erbil but it is unclear what exactly is going on.
