Gigagas ETH L1 (10K TPS) The vision for scaling Ethereum is for the L1 to become a full ZKL1, a future unlocked by zKVMs (like Succinct's SP1) and Real-Time Proving. At the EthCC - Ethereum Community Conference, Justin Drake from the Ethereum Foundation presented a roadmap that will allow the mainnet to achieve a throughput of ~10,000 TPS. This approach also radically increases decentralization, making it possible to run a full validator node on a $7 Raspberry Pi Pico device that consumes one watt of power. The roadmap includes an ambitious plan to increase the L1 gas limit 3x annually.

I had the same investment thesis on punks before: that it’s a leveraged play vs $ETH While still true, years of being an NFT maxi changed my thesis Now, I see punks as investment on digital ownership I believe that people will eventually collect in digital as they do in IRL I believe that NFTs will be the medium for that to happen as NFTs enable provenance & proof of ownership I believe that NFTs or digital collectibles will be something most brands and artists use And when these happens, the OG NFT PFP will be considered the holy grail of digital ownership (it is already, but moreso then) That thesis is much larger than tying punks’ worth to its mother chain, Ethereum That thesis is a bet on human evolution
