Wokwi is criminally underrated. Being able to simulate ESP32 with full WiFi/sensor behavior in the browser before touching any hardware saves so much debugging time. The MicroPython support is also solid.

Wokwi is great for proto logic before committing to HW. The gap is going from "works in simulator" to "works on a real PCB", that's where proper schematic design, component selection, and layout matter.Simltn gets you 80% there, the last 20% is where the real engineering happens.
