The TQ+ insert themselves by using Marsha P. Johnson & Sylvia Rivera into our movement when both said they were gay. Marsha showed up after the raids and riots started. Sylvia was against the extra letters being added to the movement and blamed straights for it. The TQ+ community...

When did I say that Marsha did not identify as a gay trans person near her death?

Ridiculous. I was a 90s kid and never heard the word "transgender" back then either. The term wasn't as common to use as it is today, back then it was transvestite/drag queen, but still they did identify as women and that definitely makes them trans.

"Silvia" was a junkie who claimed a squat was a 'refuge' for street prostitutes and junkies...who had to work the streets to pay to stay there!

sylvia was not criticizing the TQ+ being added?? she is criticizing the gay movement for turning the movement into a capitalist machine. she and marsha literally ran an organization for transgender street workers and vocalized her disapproval of the exclusion of GNC people.

So what actually happened at stonewall ⬇️ If you’ve ever heard “Marsha P. Johnson threw the first brick at Stonewall,” you’re not alone. But here’s the thing—the real story is more complex, and more powerful. On June 28, 1969, the NYPD raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in Greenwich Village. Police raids on queer spaces were common, but that night? People fought back. For six nights, the streets filled with rebellion, resistance, and rage. Bottles were thrown, fires were lit, and for the first time, the LGBTQ+ community pushed back in a way that couldn’t be ignored. Who Was There? Marsha P. Johnson – A Black transgender activist and drag queen, Marsha was a key figure in the uprising. While she didn’t throw the first brick (and even said so herself), she was there on the first night, on the frontlines, fighting for our rights. Sylvia Rivera – A Latina trans activist, Sylvia was also there, throwing herself into the fight for LGBTQ+ liberation and later co-founding STAR (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries) to support homeless queer youth. Stormé DeLarverie – A lesbian and drag king, Stormé was allegedly one of the first to resist arrest, fighting back against police and rallying others to do the same. And. So. Many. More… So, Who Threw the First Brick? The truth? We don’t know—and it doesn’t really matter. Stonewall wasn’t about one brick. It was about a community that had been pushed too far and finally said, enough. It wasn’t just a single moment—it was a movement. Stonewall didn’t start the LGBTQ+ rights movement, but it changed everything. It led to the formation of the Gay Liberation Front, ACT UP, and eventually, the first-ever Pride march in 1970. Today, LGBTQ+ rights still face threats. The fight isn’t over. But just like at Stonewall, we keep resisting. Next time you’re at Pride, remember: you’re celebrating a riot. A rebellion. A moment that sparked a movement.

Has anyone noticed how difficult it has become to book tatkal tickets these days? There is an active TQ Ticket agent mafia that is controlling the sales using automated software. For the past 3 days, I've been trying to book TQ tickets for Hyderabad but failing every time. Then I contacted an agent, and he assured me of a 99% probability of getting a confirmed ticket. He asked for ₹500 extra on top of the final ticket price, but when everything is the same for both, how is he so sure about getting a confirmed ticket? I further investigated and got to know about automated software that these agents are using to book TQ tickets. I even came across multiple YouTube/WhatsApp/Telegram channels that are openly selling this software. As a normal human, one can't compete with fully automated software that books a confirmed TQ ticket in just 30 seconds, even for the busiest routes at the busiest times, like Diwali (proofs attached). Firstly, passengers are paying TQ charges on top of ticket costs, and then they are paying an additional amount to these agents to get a TQ ticket, and IRCTC Ministry of Railways are doing nothing about it. Babus don't care as they are getting confirmed tickets in the HO quota, and these problems don't exist for them. Dear Ashwini Vaishnaw As both I&B and Rail Minister, I'm sure that you or your team must be aware of it. Why is no action initiated against such malpractice? Why are such agents not put behind bars yet, or shall we assume that even people inside the organisation are involved in all this? Attaching proofs of how such software works #IndianRailways
