My 155k channel was flagged for “harmful content involving minors” and “content related to sexual abuse,” which is completely false. Just a few months ago, I had to go through multiple steps to receive my creator award and verification checkmark, I was denied and after a human review, I finally got my reward. Now I can’t seem to get any help at all. What is the purpose of recognizing creators if their channels can be taken down shortly afterward without proper review? I am formally requesting a human review of my channel. My history videos do not violate YouTube’s guidelines. Why is educational content not protected anymore? Day 7 of posting my videos. My 155K+ subscriber Yt channel’s was suspended due to a related channel issue. This suspension is clearly an error. My channel was falsely flagged for “harmful content involving minors” and “content related to sexual abuse.” My videos contain none of this. So why was my channel punished so severely? I am formally requesting a human review of my channel. Hi, TeamYouTube my channels were wrongfully terminated for “spam or deceptive practices,” but I’ve never broken YouTube’s Terms of Service. All my videos are original Fortnite gameplay that I personally record, edit, and upload. I’ve appealed this over 9 times, and each one was auto-rejected in under 3 minutes — there’s clearly been no real human review. I’ve worked hard for years to build these channels and follow every rule. This is extremely unfair treatment toward a small creator who has always played by the rules. I create comedy podcasts and gaming content, and I do everything myself: filming, editing, and appearing on camera. Overnight, both channels were demonetized. I made 2 appeal videos — zero views. Every appeal was rejected with the exact same copy-paste automated message. No human support from YouTube. After 12 years and building two big communities, this treatment is unacceptable. A message to TeamYouTube YouTube Creators Neal Mohan I am a Belgian YouTuber who has been creating videos on YouTube for over 14 years, and YouTube has been my full-time profession for more than 10 years. Today, I am at risk of losing everything. My very first YouTube channel, a channel that had been inactive for several years, was terminated after receiving three strikes on old videos about a video game called Yandere Simulator. I stopped creating content about this game years ago. The videos I made about Yandere Simulator were created for one reason only: to entertain people, make them laugh, and have a good time playing a video game — exactly as I have done with many other games throughout all these years. I have always done everything I could to respect YouTube's rules and Community Guidelines. For 14 years, I have built my life and my professional career around creating content and entertaining people. I have never wanted to promote anything harmful. My only goal has always been to bring positivity to people, make them smile, and give them a moment of entertainment. And today, I am at risk of losing my entire career because of old videos on a channel I had not even been actively using for years. YouTube, I genuinely need your help. PROOF the YouTube algorithm is killing my channel. Please share and retweet because I really need a response from YouTube and to get someone to look into this. TeamYouTube please I NEED you to explain WHY my videos are getting suppressed as shown in this video. The algorithm promotes other videos that bring in fewer views for the impressions they get than many of my videos. My audience wants to watch my content but you are not letting them know it's there. Can you PLEASE look into my channel, SHADIVERSITY, and check why it's getting downranked so much that our impressions are the worst they've been in SIX YEARS in spite of having this year higher click-through rates, impressions conversions, interaction and watch time? So YouTube has officially rejected my appeal and confirmed that my and Nick Cruse’s stream Nick Cruse 🥋 did not follow their “firearms policy”. YouTube’s firearms policy states that no live-streamer can handle a firearm while live-streaming. Yet, neither of us were operating a firearm on the live, and never have. To highlight the absurdity and arbitrariness of YouTube’s decision, Nick’s upload of the stream is STILL UP ON YOUTUBE, while mine was taken down, despite it being THE SAME STREAM! The double-standard and lack of principles are obvious and TeamYouTube should be ashamed of itself for its duplicity. Now, I am indefinitely banned from going live. Youtube doesn’t even tell me for how long. There’s obviously no recourse for YouTube content creators. Every decision is arbitrarily made and enforced. Shame on YouTube!
