The Zimbabwean election has two contentious issues, the process and the presidential results dispute. Most African ambassadors who support SADC’s preliminary report are however confused by the... show more

Hopewell, I don’t think these 2 positions are mutually exclusive. I think it’s disingenuous (it’s actually a blatant lie) to say the opposition is not talking about the flawed process, they are talking about both! Please don’t spread plain falsehoods just to be relevant

I'm asking where is Nelson Mukwenha? A missing of one of us must be counted as election fraud and intimidation to the citizens I hope people's President-elect @nelsonchamisa is aware on this.

While the international community debates the process and the Zimbabwean opposition fights over disputed figures, let's hope that the voices and needs of the Zimbabwean people aren't forgotten.

You are making a wrong conclusion here. Firstly, some people said CCC was crazy to participate in an election they knew very well from the onset was tilted in favor of the incumbent. Had CCC taken heed of that advice, we would be having a different discussion now with no SADC support to talk of. 2ndly, by insisting on getting the figures right, it does not mean they will not consider the other conditions that were not met to make this a fair election. We all know Zanu PF refused blatantly to reform the process, but elections had to be done. The decision CCC took was then to beat Zanu PF at its own game. And from the look of things, the CCC garnered enough to take away the majority in parliament. A milestone achievement. And when if we consider the way Zanu PF acted over the last few days, the body language, they probably lost the Presidential too. If CCC has the V11’s which from the 2018 election result challenge, were the crux of the matter, there is hope. Allow the CCC to consider all the facts first before you make wrong conclusions on how they are going to challenge the result.

The electoral process is flawed & in those flaws rigging took place. I think Nelson Chamisa mentioned both. I stand to be corrected.

I have a stronhg feeling Hopewell has political ambitions. Time will tell. Chamisa clearly spoke about the intimidation, the Faz, the ballot delays, the cooking of figures. Does all that not affect the councillors, the MPs and the President? Bro stop thriving on pettiness.

The opposition is saying both the process and result isn't right,i think youre now just criticising for the sake of it

Can’t this be a two pronged approach? Firstly the opposition has to verify the actual votes received by each presidential candidate & then after that look at the election in general eg the intimidation, delimitation, voters’ roll etc

The final product is as good as the process.
