This is probably the biggest news yet in software going headless, and will bring knowledge work agents to the masses. The new ChatGPT agents have access to any of the tools and data you want to work with, with complete coding and tool use available to them. Here's an example of a custom sales assistant agent uses Box as a knowledge source for accessing enterprise content securely to answer questions and generate new content on the fly. The workflows can obviously vastly far more complex as the agent can use any of the tools within Box available via MCP and CLI. This precisely what agents will start to look like for knowledge work. You'll be able to spin them up in the foreground or background to help augment work. Big opportunity right now for headless platforms, and for all the new builders and designers of these agents in the enterprise.

Marc Andreessen: There are two ways to think about education. One is at the national level — how do you educate all kids? But the real question is N = 1: what do you do for one individual kid? And for centuries, the answer has been obvious. If your goal is to maximize a single child, the best method by far is one-on-one tutoring. Every royal family knew this. Codex team is back in the kitchen with a really nice quality of life upgrade for subagents. With the advent of custom roles, they have also upgraded the TUI experience in two really meaningful ways. > All agents now get a name for better readability > Additionally, the agent role is declared. > Subagent name, role, and status are now color coded. > Subagent rendering was also optimized for readability > /agents slash command shows all agents, even 2+ layers deep. And here's the biggest and most important change. Subagent injection. Before, sometimes the orchestration agent would continue work and lose track of the work of a subagent. Now, when a subagent is blocked or completed, it injects a message back up the chain to ensure that the parent sees the message. This is a really big improvement overall, and leads to much more reliable inter-agent communication, reliability, and DX. In this example, I used the parent agent to spin up a worker agent, which then spawned two more "Spark" agents a second layer deep. I was able to easily tell them apart, switch between the threads, and see exactly what they were prompted. All of this will be available in update 0.105.0 I don't know who JIF is at OpenAI, but they are truly a legend.

jackfort is one of the coolest projects i've seen in a while. classic outerwear — field coats, army coats, raincoats — done in cool ways, such as a patchwork army jacket made from different pieces of vintage milsurp fabric. or a peacoat from fuzzy casentino wool. all made in south korea by a guy named jack and a very small team. since everything is made upon order, you can get it customized however you want. so if you're an unusual size, you can still get cool outerwear. this meshes custom tailoring with fashion design, which tend to sit at opposite ends of the market. currently only available at trunk shows, but IMO something to look out for. i suspect it'll be big among certain guys in 2026 and 2027.
