People ask me all the time why folks in the south can't see the North Star (Polaris). It's because it is simply too far away. (Same reason why northern observers cannot see the Southern Cross constellation). The celestial bodies dip down over the horizon when they reach around 6,000 miles (9,600km) away from our observation point on the ground (in the x-axis direction). You can confirm this yourself by taking note of the exact time the sun disappears from sight during sunset, and checking where on Earth it's noon at that time. It will be roughly 6,000 miles away. Our eyes cannot see infinitely! Linus Torvalds, creator of Linux, on why AI is both a bubble and a revolution at the same time: His answer refuses the binary, laying out why both things can be true at once: "I mean, clearly, it's clearly both, right? It's clearly a bubble and at the same time, it's very interesting and I think it will change society and I think it will change how most skilled jobs get done." But he pushes back on the maximalist framing: "At the same time, I don't think it's as revolutionary as people make it out to be." When asked about artists being angry that AI models were trained on their work without consent, Linus is blunt: "That's reality. Deal with it. That genie is out of the bottle. You're not getting it back. And you're not getting it back whether you are a photographer who's out of work… or you're a programmer that has to learn to deal with a new reality." Most AI tools today are just command-takers. You type, it responds. You click, it executes. There's truly no learning, no memory, no adaptation. You're still doing most of the work. Which is why Miles by Avo on Solana would make so much sense if built well. From what I understand so far, miles learns about you over time, adapts to how you operate, and figures out the tools you struggle to navigate on your own. Less clicking, more conversation, the more you use it, the better it gets at working with you, not just for you. That shift from command-follower to learning companion is bigger than it sounds. It's the difference between a tool and an agent that actually knows you. The second one is Agent Grid and this one is for builders and power users. But as I mentioned in this video, I'm still studying the Agent Grid. I'd come talk about it once I learn properly about it. Souren just keeps shipping!

The Sun feels warmer at noon than in the morning or evening, because it is physically right above you at local noon 🌞 Its heat is not traveling 93 million miles though a vacuum to get to you. This preposterous distance was made up to block you from understanding that it's a local luminary that was put here by God, circuiting above our Earth in perfect circles every day, its path narrowing and widening over the course of the year, which creates SEASONS. CK on birthright citizenship sounds a lot like Clarence Thomas: "If you think you can just get on a Delta Airlines flight from Paris and all of a sudden your kid becomes a U.S. citizen, that devalues the meaning of what it is to be a citizen... It's not our job to open up our borders to every sad story around the place..." "The point being is this and President Trump's executive order is phenomenal. Viktor Hovland made 8 birdies to close with a 5 under par 67 at the Masters. After the round, he went deep on the ball flight laws and the importance of matching up the club face to the swing path: “It's a good question. It's just tough to answer. First of all, that's why I like TrackMan and understanding the ball flight laws are very good to have because you can start a ball left, more left than you would like, but if it's curving back, who cares. That just means you're -- granted, if you're hitting it in the center your club path is just maybe creeping a bit more left, but if your face is in the right spot you're just hitting a bigger curve and then you can adjust that accordingly. “If you're starting the ball left and it's going left, is it a face issue, are you striking it off the heel and they're not coming back? There's a lot of minutiae involved with that. “If it's just a face-to-path issue or a club path direction, you can solve that pretty easily by playing a bigger cut or playing a bigger draw or moving it a bit more forward or back in the stance, simple stuff like that.” This is a great explanation that a lot of amateurs can learn from. There's a whole laundry list of proofs that I find independently convincing, but if I had to pick just one single argument to hang my hat on for why I believe the Earth is flat and stationary, it is the STARS & PLANETS, and their paths in the sky from Earth's POV. How do you explain in the heliocentric model, how every star traces perfect circles around the North Star, and every PLANET traces perfect sacred geometrical patterns around the North Star as well? According to the heliocentric model of the solar system (1st video) all of these spinning ball planets in the Milky Way are orbiting the SUN, at different speeds and path circumferences, at distance ranges from 36 million to 2.8 billion miles away from us. The North Star, NASA tells us, is 2.5 QUADRILLION miles away. Now tell me how all of these independent Sun-orbiting planets would trace PERFECT patterns around the North Star for 6,000+ years of recorded history? Venus literally creates a PERFECT flower of life pattern, which we see appear in nature here on Earth as well. Get the f*ck out of here if you think that's just a fluke cosmic accident. Not to mention, EVERY SINGLE CONSTELLATION has remained the exact same in our sky for 6,000 years? Not a single one has appeared or disappeared, while the universe is supposedly expanding at countless millions of miles per hour? Remember, these are all of Earth's movement vectors we are supposedly experiencing as we soar through the infinitely-expanding void of space 👇 🫨 1,000 MPH spinning around Earth's axis 🫨 66,600 MPH flying around Sun 🫨 500,000 MPH flying through the galaxy 🫨 1,300,000 MPH entire galaxy flying through space 🫨 All while the entire universe is EXPANDING, speeding all of these vectors up and warping the directions in different/random ways 🫨 ALL OF THE STARS we see are flying in different directions too, at their own incomprehensible speeds And yet, the stars we see in the night sky have never changed. Ever. I'm sorry but the "it's parallax" response from the globers doesn't cut it for me - that sounds like a glaring example of starting with a pre-determined conclusion in mind, and making anything up in the middle in order to get to that conclusion. (I WILL GRANT HOWEVER, that at least the parallax effect is something we can visibly see and experience on the micro level—unlike "gravity"—so I will concede that it obviously exists. I just don't believe that it explains all of the above motions, distances, and perfection of consistency in the patterns created by the cosmology we observe). Every ounce of my common sense-trusting brain tells me that all of these insanely huge numbers are just brain-numbing nonsense to obfuscate away from the far-simpler truth: that NONE of these incomprehensible speeds/distances are even happening at all, and rather, the Earth is flat and stationary, and these unchanging constellations and planetary movements are indeed revolving around US. The North Star (Polaris) lies directly above the North Pole, and does not move. The stars and planets rotate around the North Star, above Earth. Just as it looks and feels. This was awesome. I got the opportunity to describe to Rick Rubin how I make Founders podcast: “Steph Curry was asked: What do you think of when you're taking a shot? And he said: Absolutely nothing. I’ve had people ask me how I choose what to highlight. What are you thinking of when you're doing this? And my response is: Nothing. I just read and if something jumps out to me I don't think at all, I just underline it. And then I'll go back through and reread all my highlights. And if that part is still interesting, it was interesting the first time, now it's interesting the second time, it's probably interesting to other people. There's 10 million mes out there. I'm not unique. And there's no way that if I read this line twice and found it interesting that if I read it on a podcast that somebody else is not going to think it's interesting too. If I overthink it or if I think of “oh this person might hear it” or “oh this many people will hear it” that gets in the way. I'm thinking of nothing.”

Over the past year, a lot of the conversation has been around how quickly AI is changing the digital world. At the same time, it made us think about how little has changed in the physical one. Most products are still designed the same way, just with more features layered on top. We wanted to explore a different direction at Lusion. Instead of asking how to add intelligence, we asked what happens if you take things away. What remains when you strip a product back to its core purpose, and design it properly from there. Oryzo is our first attempt at that. It is a physical product, built with a very simple idea of how it should exist and behave. No dependency on external systems, no complexity for the sake of it. Just something that feels considered. Curious to hear what people think. Link is in the comment!

It became impossible to focus on both at the same time. The intention is to make 'Princess Diaries' hopefully next year. But it's not greenlit or confirmed yet. But we're discussing intentions these days and everybody wants it, and we're just chipping away at the script. Because.... If I learned anything from this one, it's the expectations are very, very high. And if you're gonna do it, you have to knock it out of the park."
