"honestly, i don't think i'm very good at letting (my characters) go. once i take on a project, i end up doing it for about 8 to 10 months, and i feel like my way of speaking and habits from that time remain a bit. so even after a project wraps up, that character actually stays with me for a while. but when that happens, i try as much as possible not to do the things that the character used to do for 8 months. for example like a certain posture or things like that. and then i cut my hair from when i played that character to try and see a different image of myself too. but honestly, even if i cut my hair, that character doesn't really go away. so for me, honestly, rather than saying 'i'm letting them go', i just always cherish them and no matter what project i do in the future, i feel like there will still be moments where i think of that character. since i consider (those) moments to be a part of who i am too, i actually really like seeing those moments keep piling up within me."

I got early access to PAI, the new long-form storytelling model from Utopai Studios, and decided to try something a bit different. Instead of generating random AI clips, I created a full original animated story. What really surprised me was the narrative consistency. Up to 60 seconds where the same character, world, and tone stayed intact. I could tweak scenes, adjust pacing, and refine story beats — and nothing fell apart. It didn’t feel like just prompting outputs. It felt more like directing a story. If you think in character arcs rather than isolated clips, this kind of continuity feels different. Each time that user chats, their timer resets. Thus making their character live longer. If the character "timer" hits zero.
