They've said nothing about playing with (virtual) fire... 👉🙄👈 Here a 3D flame. Another use case for Simply Trails: Trail anything! A geometry nodes modifier coming in August for #b3d.✨🎯🔥💻

Since #GeometryNodes can't expose Float Curves in the modifier panel yet, I will leave a hint there. So you can have full control on profile for shapes like that flame. (Don't forget to duplicate the modifier when doing that, otherwise all the other instances will get the same).

Help... now I cant make the flame go out! 😅

In the sample files there will be these handy nodegroups for creating shaders. They allow to manipulate the UVy along the trail and also bring in the velocity attribute.

As @AndrewPrice asked... Are we using the same software???

@andrewprice 😅👍🏽✨

Cool! I still haven’t implemented collision. 👍🏽✨

Lmk when available

@Alxander1of1 Around 15th August.

Perfect demo and perfect timing, @CosmoMidias. This will come in very handy for a project I'm working on. No more fiddling around with displacements on my end. Looking forward to this.

You've played the system.

Cool🙂

Whoa.. that looks great!! 👍

@La_boucherie_DJ prochaine étape en vue ?

You ket your intrusive thoughts win. I respect that.

Playing with fire? More like playing with #PublicAI! 🔥💻

My god... I was just waiting for you to pull the controller down to have it actually burn down and start melting the wax as well :D

You… this is actually also possible with geometry nodes. It would be interesting indeed.
