They don't need to pause the action for commercials in soccer - they players are all wearing commercials.

American football is nothing short of chess with 300 pound pieces. There's so much intense strategy in every single play, it's mind-boggling. But I wouldn't expect a Brit to understand. It's not your game.

Do soccer teams have cheerleaders like this? No? We win.

Totally true! 99% of the time nothing is happening in American Football. There are just the couple of seconds bursts of activity that you have to watch a replay to catch all that happened anyway. Loads of commercials. Extremely boring game!

American football, a 4 hour game where the avarage 'in ball' play time is about 12 minutes. It's an advertiser's dream.
