Bryson DeChambeau says LIV Golf have had a “fantastic” start to the season and it means so much to be part of the team. Speaking after his dramatic victory in Singapore, Bryson said: “I think it's been a fantastic start for LIV Golf, and what the 4Aces are doing is incredible. The Golf Channel is so bad with the anti-LIV propaganda. Can LIV players compete with their schedule & preparation? This has been shown repeatedly for 2 years that they can. Notah Begay taking a dig at Jon Rahm's bank account & speculating that Rahm won't be prepared because you have to play against the best players?? Total clown take by Begay, he's playing against elite fields right now, better than most all PGA Tour events leading up to The Masters. Later we hear they still think Jon Rahm is having 2nd thoughts, he's clearly not. Just because he's honest about the things he misses about the PGAT & wanting more unity, while conveniently dismissing the things he likes about LIV. So, how does the league’s other main star, Jon Rahm, feel about that, and is he taking a similar role? “I am not, no. “I said it in Spanish; I don't know how to translate it to English. It would be more of a stay-in-your-lane type situation as it goes to me. I know nothing about business. I'm never going to claim to know anything about business, and if I was in a business pitch, I would not know the first thing to say. My job is to play golf, and I'll say it's is hard enough as it is, especially this week. “But if any player who knows what they're doing is willing to do certain things like that, I think it can only help. LIV Golf have sold nearly 100,000 tickets for their first ever event in South Africa, putting it on track to comfortably be the best attended golf event ever held in the country. Charl Schwartzel spoke about the growth of LIV Golf since their inaugural event in 2022: “Yeah, I mean, that first event in June in 2022, there was a lot of turmoil in our sport, a lot of uncertainty. Obviously it was coming from guys that had come to LIV. Nobody was sure what to expect… “But from a LIV standpoint, it's been fantastic to be part of it, to see how it's grown, gotten better. Every year they improve. “We've had a taste of it every year in Adelaide, where you can see what it can be, because that's like the pinnacle of the LIV events. Now just to see what we've created here in South Africa, it makes you very proud to see. This is fantastic. “I don't think there's any -- there's never been a golfing event in South Africa that's ever been set up like this, and I don't think many sporting events here.
