THIS IS NOT A REFEREE TWEET I REPEAT - THIS IS NOT A REFEREE PENALTY OFFICIALS TWEET This is me giving Jaylen Watson a little more grace on the pass to Brian Thomas. Thomas extended his left arm right as Watson is getting ready to jump - AGAIN - This is not about a penalty. This happens a lot in the game including Chiefs receivers doing it. It happens. I wouldn’t want the flag thrown if the roles were reversed and it was a Chiefs receiver. I’m tweeting this because I was pretty frustrated with Watson yesterday during the show with him not coming up with the PBU on this. Outside of closing the gap more on the sideline he was in phase and looks like he timed his jump pretty perfectly. Bad timing that the arm hits him when he’s between steps. Easier to lose balance with neither foot touching the ground AGAIN I DON’T CARE ABOUT A PENALTY OR NOT. Also, good for Brian Thomas who has had his issues with drops that’s he’s able to secure it after the slight bobble before Conner makes the hit. (Please don’t make this about the refs)

Meyer is not a grad transfer—he’s a Scholar All-American who had just one year left to earn his Ivy diploma. This portal move has nothing to do with health. As recently as last week, Meyer said he wasn’t entering the portal—money didn’t matter, and he was one year away from graduating with high honors and potentially becoming a 4x All-American for the Big Red. All of this suggests the move is far less about any immediate financial incentive and much more about his relationship with the coaches….to the point where he would possibly rather use his final season elsewhere, even if it means leaving his Ivy diploma behind. If things were good, this would not even be a consideration.

The year before, a French cardinal had paid him 450 gold ducats to sculpt a statue for his own tomb. The contract had one strange clause: it had to be "the most beautiful work of marble in Rome, one that no living artist could better." Michelangelo had never completed a major public commission. He accepted anyway... He carved for two years from a single block of Carrara marble that he later called the most perfect stone he ever worked. What he produced was the Pietà: the body of Christ, lifeless, across the lap of his mother. When it was unveiled, visitors refused to believe a 24-year-old Florentine had made it. They credited the work to a more famous Lombard sculptor. So according to Vasari, Michelangelo slipped into the basilica with a chisel and carved his name in Latin across the sash running between Mary's breasts: MICHAELANGELUS BONAROTUS FLORENTINUS FACIEBAT. The runner dives a bit outside with his had stretched out and tags the side of the double first base for runners. He’s safe. But the umpire said he was outside the base path and called him out. Th What do you think? Was he out of the baseline or not? Safe or out?

In the last game against HK Mogo, one of the opponents called me 'Chi*k' and said, 'fu*k you, Chinese monkey.' Whether he understood the meaning of the term or not, this was clearly a racist act targeting me and the Asian community. After the game, I even attempted to shake his hand and asked, 'Did you mean it, or was it an accident?' However, he refused to shake my hand and walked away without acknowledging me, even though he shook hands with everyone else. At the time of the incident, a linesman was positioned between us, and I believe he heard the derogatory comments. He may not have comprehended the meaning, but he certainly heard them. Ice hockey is a sport where over 90% of participants are of Caucasian descent. However, discrimination should never be tolerated under any circumstances. I hope the league and the team take this matter seriously and take the appropriate actions to address it. #optibethockeyleague #SayNoToRacism

Everyone is talking about this video, but I think this is two people trying to avoid each other and Conner just making a mistake at the shortstop position. The slide is clearly off the base and then he comes clearly off the base to meet the slide. I think he had it pre-decided in his mind that he was going to try to avoid a direct slide and they just ended up at the same place. I could be wrong unless the shortstop is trying to get some sort of obstruction or interference call #raisethecone #pittsburg #Pirates #Raysup #Tampa #Mlb

Revisited this episode of Charlie with Tucker and clipped something pretty interesting. Charlie was talking with Tucker about being a “slave to debt” and referenced Proverbs, but he gave the wrong chapter and verse. The Proverbs he appears to have meant was 22:7: “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.” Instead, Charlie cited Proverbs 7:22: “All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose” Maybe Charlie simply had a lapse and misspoke. That’s certainly possible. But considering how deeply familiar he was with the Bible, and his reputation for having a photographic memory, it’s a pretty strange mistake to make, especially when the verse he said is completely unrelated to the point he was making. I’m not claiming to know whether it was intentional. I just find the discrepancy interesting enough to point out.
