I was expecting good political theater and I got it. That's what you should expect from these. 99% of these nominees are going to get confirmed. Most people realize they're going to glide through. There may be a couple of controversies. We don't yet know but this is a chance to put on some hardcore political theater just before the inauguration. Then it's back to business as usual. So I'm not surprised and I'm quite enjoying it.

At some point, I wonder if the fighters and their representatives will realize that they’re being treated like major league athletes. However, they get none of the benefits that those major league athletes get. They’re on the same level when it comes to rights deals and sponsorships and all that stuff, and they’re getting 0% of it. Mind-boggling. You can’t just sit here and listen to all of this and be like, “Yep. OK. That’s cool.”

just wrapped up a great week in new york! my takeaways: it’s clear the city’s all-in on blockchain, and wall st doesn’t want to get left behind. we have the biggest banks integrating and investing heavily. we’ve seen this story before, but this time it’s different. before blockchain was just a buzzword. the implementations were purely pilots. now, they’re actually being deployed at the frontiers. the big dogs finally see the real use-cases we’ve been talking about all these years. they’re watching, and once they see their deployments at the frontiers working, the race will be on to integrate throughout their entire systems. a paradigm shift is underway. more to come soon.
