This customer signed a contract for some concrete work. He’s concerned because a friend told him that the job the contractor did could not be good because they got it done so quickly and is now refusing to pay the full amount, only $600 now and will pay the rest once the concrete cures and he sees it’s ok. I see this from both sides however I think he should pay the amount he agreed on. Most contractors warranty their work. If anything was to happen afterwords then I would expect them to come fix it. I wouldn’t without someone’s livelihood because of that. I understand that with any job there is a risk involved. Most of the time the work is done to my liking and there is no issues. On those rare occasions that things happen then I must trust that the contractor will do the right thing based on the contract we both signed. This principle applies to everything we encounter in life from cars to appliances we buy. I think the warranty is what protects us from faulty or defective services or products. I wouldn’t be surprised if the contractor files a lien on his home, I would expect that to happen. The homeowner should just do the right thing and fulfill his end of the bargain by paying for what he agreed upon.

The govt totally deserves this mocking. I mean, if you decided to surrender, fine, you could have done it by calling a press conference and resign by saying, 'We are bowing down to regular students.' Or you could have called Wangchuk and yielded to him. Or you could have called the parents of the NEET leak suicide victims, expressed regret, and resigned in front of them. You could have even called the ordinary students who were part of the protest. All of the above would be more sensitive and good optics too. But instead, you chose to call the trolls affiliated with a political party and desperately surrendered to every single demand of theirs. You were so desperate to shake hands and appease them. For what, man? Who was the think tank behind this?

The tree wasn’t as small as was made out to be. How much money would you pay to have this “small” tree cut down and hauled off? Some are saying $2,000? 😳 Does that sound right?

I’m convinced that fine dining is a scam, this woman went to this restaurant, the first red flag was when she tried to enter this Michelin star restaurant, at the door there were customers refusing to pay. The first dish looked and tasted like lip gloss. The highlight of her bad experience was when they brought out something that was supposed to look like a belly button and you suck the juice out of it. It cost them $800 for three people, but $1000 with the tip. Would you try this for $1000?

My employee sent me this video. Another company installed this tankless water heater. They charged the customer $12,000!!!!!!!! tons of mistakes. Worse than a DIY homeowner that doesn’t know what they’re doing. FYI, this company who installed it is already in under investigation from the state DOPL…. It’s really too bad that there are bad businesses out there that feel OK doing this to people. The homeowner hired us to fix all the mistakes. Should have hired us in the first place.

This guy put an ad out for free rock. He wasn’t going to use it. 8 1/2 tons worth. You come load it and you haul it away. A woman messaged him that she wanted it. He told her to bring a big truck. She showed up in a mini van with buckets and was putting the rock into buckets in the back of her van. She asked him to take the ad down and she said she would come back for the rest of it. He’s kind of laughing about it in disbelief. Maybe she doesn’t have a lot of money. Maybe she wanted to use it to make her yard look nice and couldn’t afford to buy any. Instead of making fun of the situation, how about going out there and helping her. I’d have helped her. Would you have helped that woman? Customer agrees to $6k for a gravel job. Contractor brings in multiple crews and kills himself to finish it in under 6 hours so they can enjoy it before the holiday. Customer’s response? “You finished too fast… I’m only paying you $3,000.” This cheap, entitled parasite really tried to stiff the man who went above and beyond because he was too good at his job. While passing out 9,690 Local Defence Personnel at Kaweweta, it was good to find out that over 5000 of them have A’level certification. With this level of Education, it is easy to learn, because modern warfare has a lot of science and educated people learn easily. I am therefore happy, this is very good for the army and the country. To the new graduates, you have entered a noble institution that succeeded right from FRONASA days because of the ideology of patriotism- Love for Uganda. Uganda is more important than your tribe and religion. Uganda values you the way you are, you should also value Uganda. I wish you good luck.
