It is a robust document that demonstrates Finland's readiness to further support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. Finland will provide long-term military and financial assistance, as well as step up political, financial, humanitarian and reform cooperation with Ukraine. It will help Ukraine rebuild the energy sector, assess environmental damage, strengthen border and critical infrastructure protection, and provide medical treatment for Ukrainian soldiers. Finland and Ukraine have signed a bilateral defense cooperation agreement. Finland's defense ministry said it would give a new military aid package to Ukraine, worth around 200 million euros ($217.48 million), including artillery ammunition to help in the war with Russia. Thank you, Finland! 🇫🇮🇺🇦 Also, Finnish Minister of the Interior Mari Rantanen visited Kyiv. The visit continued the dialogue on cooperation and exchange of experience within the framework of the signed agreement on security cooperation and long-term support.

Many thanks to my colleague, Elina Valtonen for the invitation and the warm welcome. Belgium and Finland share a lot in common, notably the fight to defend democracy and the rule of law. Our economic cooperation is growing, in diverse sectors such as energy and defense. There is much more we can do together, and we will work on that. We will also keep together defending Ukraine and fighting against Russian malign activities and any kind of hybrid threat in Europe. Thanks to Hybrid CoE for the very interesting exchange.
