I hate to be this guy, but older cars are increasing in value because they're more desirable. You can't mod newer cars like the old ones, and the price reflects that. Those K20a2's are way more robust than the newer L15's. Educated enthusiasts know this.

Very sad, bought my first car for $2700. The market for used cars under $5k is non-existent now

Then don’t fucking buy it? Buy a Honda civic for $1500 If people spent just half the amount of time they spend complaining like whiny bitches into something productive they could afford the things they want

Can y’all send this to my 20yr old? He’s smart, financially stable…has two new cars and we were talking about getting a project car together. This fool is wanting to pay for overpriced junk from the 2000’s?!? I’m still trying to help him but sir 😅

That kid should just finance a 2022 Tesla model 3 for $14k

you're gonna fail at anything if you take one look at an online post and decide it's over. Talk the guy down. If it's still listed in two weeks get in touch and talk him down. There are plenty of cheap shitboxs, you're not entitled to the one you want.

Most ppl have forgotten about the “Cash for Clunkers” Obama administration program that devastated the used car market. This is a symptom of that and post-COVID used car scare. There aren’t as many used cars out there anymore.
